Great little 70’s style house in the pine woods
House was well stocked with everything you might need. Comfortable beds, good wi-fi and TV. I did not enjoy the wonderful deck as much as I would have liked because of the many mosquitos however.

There aren't enough stars to rate this rental. Amazing location, Amazing hosts. This was the first time I've been able to take my family for a short vacation and we made the perfect choice. Property was clean and so comfortable. Location was peaceful and very relaxing. Everything we wanted to visit and go do was so conveniently close. The kids had a blast and can't wait to return. Cozy little cottage!
Great location, wonderful communication with owner, very clean and cozy. I was by myself but you could easily sleep husband and wife and 3-5 kids. Saw two fawns in the backyard 2 nights in a row, beautiful wooded area and quiet. Highly recommend!

This was our 2nd time here. LOVE this house/property/area. Great local grocery store in Adams for GF dietary needs. Peaceful/quiet locale, lots of deer and blue jays. Very relaxing!!

Great base for fishing trip
We picked this house because it was close to both Castle Rock and Petenwell Lake for a guided fishing trip. We didn't know what lake we'd end up on until the day before so this was close to both county park boat launches. We ended up on Petenwell, which was a quick 20 min straight shot north. As for the home, it was very easy to find, easy to get in, clean, very quiet, and private! We enjoyed the firepit both nights and cooked some chicken wings on the charcoal grill one night too. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had just about everything we needed. However, we couldn't find any measuring cups or pot holders but we made do with what was provided. Overall, we were very happy with this house and it's location. Thank you for letting us stay. If we're up that way again we would definitely stay another time.

This was a great spot to stay for our very chill family vacation in the area - we were 15/20 minutes away from tubing, hiking, horse riding, & more. We were happy to be able to cook our own meals and have some nice campfires. Thank you for letting us stay in your home!

Quiet Retreat
We absolutely loved it here. The street was quiet, the house was perfect, and the nearby grocery store in Adams is WELL STOCKED for those on a gluten-free diet. We're already looking forward to our next stay here.

Cons:We were unable to open the lockbox to get the key. We had to leave a message for the owner. The second contact number told us to go to the neighbors to get the key. Luckily he was home. We got in and started our vacation. The cleaning lady came over to check on us. We told her we got a key from the neighbor. We figured she would let the owner know that we got in. We were told on the day of our vacation that the oven wasn’t working. It is disappointing to get fewer amenities than expected. There was no shade (umbrella?) on the deck. We could only use it after dark. There were many personal photos in the living room. We understand this is a home but when renting they should be removed. PROS: The house was very cute. The living room/kitchen was large with nice flooring. There were lots of fans and 2 bedroom AC units (although the one in the 3 bed room was loud). The beds and pillows were very comfortable. There were lots of extra blankets and other supplies. The location was great. There were many great restaurants within a short distance. There were parks, beaches and other woodsy areas to explore. The Dells are a quick easy drive away. The price was very reasonable. The owners seem well intentioned. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
