Perfect End of ski season retreat

The house is well appointed, especially the kitchen. We had everything we needed and plenty of space and comfort to relax and spread out for two families and some extra friends.

Ski Weekend in Wausau

Our group had a great time staying here. There was a large table that accommodated all of us for games and meals. The hot tub was a huge hit. The kitchen was well stocked and had really large refrigerator. There was lots of space for everyone to spread out too.the large windows showed all of the beautiful trees.

Work Off Site Meeting

Spent 2 nights and 3 days at the house. Great location easy access to grocery stores & restaurants if needed. Beautiful setting & very peaceful.

Perfect place for a weekend trip

Beautiful and well maintained place, exactly as shown in the pics. Kari and Ivan responded to all our queries and gave suggestions on things to do around the place. The location is awesome, fun things to do around if you like nature.

4th of July Weekend

The property was exactly as advertised and in easy distance to Rib Mountain/Granite peak. Beautiful views outside, loved the fire pit and hot tub!

Family Fun

This was the perfect spot to have family meet for skiing, hiking and relaxing. We enjoyed board games at the large dining table and the proximity to granite peak so we could all easily come back to grab food between runs. Fun was had by all!

Perfect getaway location

Thank you for providing us the ideal space for a family getaway. We had plenty of space for our family of 7 and additional guests. Short drive to Granite Peak for a great Spring skiing weekend. We enjoyed the beautiful views from every room, large dining room table to spread out and play games, and beautiful kitchen to make meals for the crowd easy. Thank you so much!

Cool and cozy!

The place is huge and beds are comfy and on the firmer side which i like. Very clean and organized. Loved all of the amenities :) One shower wasn't draining well, it drained but SO SLOW. Let the owners know, hopefully they'll look into that for the next guests! One thing we all agreed on was the seating by the TV. Could use some improvement there for chilling with lots of people as you can fit a lot of people for sleeping but when we all wanted to watch a movie, most of us had to lay on the floor on pull a chair from the dining table. Love the sunroom and all the seating options!

Great for a Ski Trip!

We had a group of 10 here for a skip trip at Granite Peak. It’s a beautiful property with a pellet burning wood stove and the hot tub is great! Everyone stayed here comfortably and enjoyed their time. It’s very remote and a short drive (under 10 mins) to the mountain. Highly recommended for group ski trips!

Family get together

We rented the house so we could have a family Christmas party and ski. The house is close enough that different people came and went as the day went on. We even went back to the house for lunch and returned to ski later. This was a perfect house for a family meal in the perfect location.

Home Town Trip

Mom's funeral took us back to Wisconsin and the Wausau area. We wanted some place relaxing for us and safe for our dogs along with being big enough to have some close family and friends visit after she was laid to rest. This property worked out great and met all of our needs. Thanks

Great location for multigenerational gathering

The house was a well-appointed and comfortable place for three generations of our family to spend time and explore the area. The house is on Rib Mountain--lots of walking and hiking opportunities. The scenery and wildlife were also wonderful.
