"Everyone very friendly. I was very lucky to get an upgrade room, but I am sure they are all of the same standards re cleanliness and comfort.
Very good breakfast with choice of what you want cooked to order.

"Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Cherry Tree. The room and place were lovely and quite modern considering how old the building is.
There was only one shower towel and half a toilet roll when we checked into our room, as well as 1 of each tea/coffee so it seemed our room was prepared for one, however the staff were very helpful to sort this for us straight away.
The location was good for what we wanted, and we enjoyed a lovely evening in Chinnor (although be aware it's a 30 minute walk on...

"Basic needs met in a reasonably priced (including a free car park on site) hotel. Nothing to fault really. Reception / manager very friendly and efficient. Even though 2miles away from Slough town centre, it is served directly outside the door by a very frequent, nearly 24hrs bus service."

"Lovely place to stay if you’re planning a trip to Oxford; a short walk from the main tourist attractions, close by to West Gate Shopping centre and just a stone throw away from the Thames. Lovely staff was very helpful and accommodating, would definitely come back the next time we visit"

"There was a mix up where the room we had originally booked had been oversold so they gave us 2 separate rooms instead of one family room. Our daughter thought it was great"
"Enjoyable two night stay. Very warm, which made the pool a godsend. Breakfast was a bit cramped and bland, if I was being picky. Lovely room, great bed and good size walk-in shower. Overall, a very definite thumbs up."
"Advertised as Family friendly so we booked an expensive 1 night stay. For myself my wife and my 4 year old daughter as it had a swimming pool. We were told when we arrived my daughter could only access the pool if she was 5. This was only hidden in the T&Cs and not flag until we arrived despite giving my daughters DOB.
We were going to get a relatively early and restful night but the loud base and music until midnight put pay to that. Our room was facing the open door of the after venue and again this wasn’t flagged at all.
When you pay £500+ for a one night stay you don’t expect this. Could have been a lovely stay but definitely tainted."
"Appreciated the on site parking. As advertised, the hotel is clean and comfortable with convenient access to the bus lines. Be prepared for tight quarters in the room, as there’s not an inch to spare!"
"Wouldn’t let us check in on time even though we had called twice and sent two messages. Claimed we were a “no show.” So gave our room away. Instead of being allowed to check in right away had to wait for them to prepare our room. Still no refund with the first night even though the whole purpose was to be able to check right in and n out wait till later. The excuse “we don’t get Expedia, messages was rather stupid. Had no problem taking expedias money. "
