"Solid choice if you just need a place to sleep, not super clean but not super dirty either. My main complaints: the bathroom had no trash can, and the shower only had lukewarm water. I was quite happy with the location, however as it’s near pretty much everything I wanted to check out."

"The hotel is very old and has had an upgrade. The views of the lake are beautiful. The hotel is outside of Watkins Glen on the highway. Sadly our television did not work when we arrived and could not be fixed. We were given the option of changing rooms and then found out the room had not been serviced. We were in a suite with a kitchen but no implements, glassware, crockery etc at all in the kitchen and no tissues."

"The very tiny and steep stairs to the third floor was unexpected and very awkward and difficult. The beds were some what uncomfortable, some sagged inwards and others lump/hump in the middle. The parking arrangements were awkward. I wish it had laundry option. The chairs were not super comfortable. I would guess suite A is first floor and suite B was second floor and I would guess suite A or B would be better options. "

"3 bathrooms was so perfect for 3 couples. Close to the walking trail into Watkins Glen but it and the gorge trail don't open until May. Restaurants and stores 2 minutes away. Warning! We didn't walk since we have to go uphill to get back to the apartment. Tricky heaters but read the directions, and they were loud. Great price for this apartment. Corning Glass Museum is a must see."
