"We spent a month at Firefly Estate and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We have visited SML for 5 years during October, but due to our previous rental being sold, we had to find another place to stay. Luckily, we found Firefly Estate. The house was amazing and looked and smelled brand new. Exceptionally clean. We were amazed to see the number of bedrooms and private bathrooms throughout. The kitchen was beyond fully stocked - we like to cook and had no problem finding kitchen tools during our stay. If you prefer to go out, you are so close to restaurants and local stores you can eat out and be home in just a few minutes without the long and twisty drive like other places. The house has a fantastic saltwater heated pool. Even in October with the chilly nights, the water was warm and refreshing during the mild days and cool nights. For those of us who wanted something warmer, the new & large hot tub was available. The house also has a great dock allowing you to park a boat under a covered area with electricity nearby. We caught many stripers and nice bass during our stay. The house is in a cove with approximately 4 other rentals. During our stay we saw a few other guests, but with the layout of the area we had plenty of privacy and did not feel like others were piled on top of us. Most importantly, the host was amazing! Easy to chat with and offering staff support throughout our stay. Though we rarely needed anything due to the perfect home. :-). Highly recommend!"

"We really enjoyed our stay. It is perfect for families. We enjoyed the comfortable living areas, the foosball table and darts, and just the fabulous lake views. The beds are very comfortable, too. Plenty of room to enjoy."

"My cousins and I spent our first ever cousins weekend getaway at “Hook, Wine and Sinker” and had the best time!! Sarah was extremely responsive during the reservation process and super helpful with tips about the area! "We stayed at this lovely home while in town for a family wedding. Our group ranged in age from 9-96 and it was perfect for all ages. The house is brand new, spacious, and one of the best appointed VRBO homes we have rented—and that says a lot because we have rented all over the USA, Caribbean, and Mexico. It was furnished SO beautifully and the owners truly left no stone unturned. A few of my personal favorite elements about the house was the dock with a top sun deck and the 4 swings on the lower deck. Plus, the dock was very well stocked with all sorts of fun water toys. Also, the mattresses in the bedrooms were very comfortable and we all commented how well we slept as a result of that. Finally, all cabinets and even the light fixtures are labeled which makes it really easy to find what you’re looking for in a rental home your unfamiliar with. The house has so many special touches that makes for the ultimate comfort. We definitely look forward to staying there again and recommend this special spot to others! "
