"Our stay was wonderful at this property. The kitchen was over the top with equipment, dishes and spices. Ice maker and drink fridge on the lower level was used all the time. Location was 1 mile from the FoodLion and approx, 9 miles from Kroger, which we used all the time. Went horseback riding and pony rides about 13 minutes away. Rented a boat for 4 days which was just right amount of time. Would look in to doing the LAKE CRUISE next time to see other sites on the lake.Great having the lake/hot tub towels included. Outdoor porch was fabulous and used all the time for coffee in the morning to games around the table to tequila tasting for the adults at night! The use of all the boat house contents was so helpful. Refrig, floats, fishing rods, tackle box, life vest, etc. The upper deck was so nice to have for warming up from the lake. All my 4 girls kept saying this house was just perfect for our party of 10 adults, 5 kids and 2 infants. Rental included a port-a-crib, 2 baby gates and a highchair, lots of kid silicone dishes. Jason was very attentive to every message I sent him, which I really appreciated.Would highly recommend this rental. And we would definitely come back again."

"The house was very well kept and anything that you needed was already there. It was a treat to have sheets, towels, beach towels, kitchen items, etc already in place. There were a ton of amenities (paddle boards, kayaks, pedal boat, dock bar with fridge, tv and margarita machine, lawn games, pavered fire pit area, three different grills, many board games in case of a rainy day) to use. The owners definitely take pride in their home and have thought of everything. We definitely hope to return again."

"This was an amazing house, and our family of 18 (3 generations) had a wonderful time! Very clean! The kitchen had everything we could possibly need. The outdoor seating/furniture/atmosphere was fantastic. The pool was perfect for all ages. The hot tub was great too! The beds in every room were the most comfortable of any house we have stayed in, although this was our first time at SML. For 35 years we've been going to the OBX. We may have a new annual vacation place. The host was extremely fast in responding to any questions that arose. Even with the historic drought and low water level, we were able to enjoy our boat on the lake."
