Hyatt Place Washington DC/US Capitol
With an advance reservation, was quite economical. The free breakfast and the 24hr fitness room was appreciated. Was a bit of a long walk to downtown events, but the nearby metro stop was convenient.

Washington Marriott Capitol Hill
The room and hotel was very, very clean. Only issue was the terrible shower water pressure and the rrqin travk was outside my window. I wish they told me about the Metro & amtrak train line was the close view outside my window. I would have upgraded or switched it for another early enough.
