I reserved a non smoking room and as soon as I opened the door a very STRONG smell of cigarettes hit me in the face! I'm so glad that I asked to see the room prior to actually checking in. The front desk check was very helpful and understanding of me not wanting to check in for a stay.

I've stayed here twice now- best deal for price you'll find and located in a good area as well. Can't go wrong with this location near the red line train stop as well.

Our Stay at Motel 6 was terrible! For one bed sheets and comforter was dirty when we spoke with staff they only gave us new sheets they didn’t have access to give us comforter Room was ran down bathroom door looked like a previous guest, had a dog and locked them in the bathroom in the door. The bottom of the door was all tore up.we had to go out to targets to buy new comforters for bed place needs to step up if they want customs to come back

The bathroom was dirty, both the toilet seat and the bathtub, there was a cockroach walking in the room. Also the 2 single sofas in the room were dirty, I don't know if it was leftover food or what. You could easily hear the room above and the room next door. Only that was bad, the rest was normal.

Very very loud. Could hear everything happening in other rooms, in the parking lot, etc. And a lot was happening. Bed was pretty uncomfortable. It wasn't horrible. And you get what you pay for, so I have no regrets. But it was not a particularly pleasant stay.

Hotel was clean, but no towels, or soap. Very noisy outside, people are yelling every hour at night, driving their motorcycles in parking.

I did not like that there was a large gap around the door and the door frame that I had to stuff bath towels in to stop the cold air from coming in and to reduce the outside noise. There was only soap available and no shampoo. Also there was no coffee machine or microwave. I had to go to the office to get a TV remote control since there was none in the room. The only good thing about me stay here was being able to park in front of my room.

Need to wash curtains more often. Ours had blood stains and smelled too much like cigarette. Parking was free and felt safe despite the other guests being a bit loud. About 1 mile walk from the white house, and other attractions, conveniently located. Staff was friendly throughout our whole stay.

The staff was lovely, the room was a little dirty, dusty, and grimy. The area definitely wasn’t the best.. also it’s extremely loud.. between the people above us and the traffic we were up multiple times through the night. Wasn’t the worst stay i’ve ever had but I definitely wouldn’t stay here again if I visited the area.

It is the worst place that I have ever been. There was poop in front of the stairs to go to the second floor. We saw rats in the parking lot. The first room they gave us was smelling cigarette smoke. We complained, and they gave us another room. The room had cockroaches right when we opened the door, and we saw bedbugs on the bed. It's a gross place, ghetto. I suspect that drugs were being sold there, unsafe. We didn’t stay and had trouble finding another hotel. Stay away!

The receptionist did not find my reservation , have to wait too long for the room . there is no lobby or any place to sit down until you are waiting for the room to be cleaned ! we did not take a shower because we didn't think it was clean enough. the good thing was that we had only one night !!! at checking out on the invoice the reservation said my name exactly and the number also so I don't understand why he could not find it in a first place ! weird . so i would not recommend this place to anyone .

All of the surfaces were a bit sticky. There is only one set of towels and more could not be provided. There were small holes in the thin comforter. Our neighbor next door asked us for money. On the positive, the area around it is super cool and lively, there’s free parking and shockingly good coffee in the morning. Overall you get what you pay for and I feel this could’ve been $20 cheaper.

5am argument outside our room, crazy’s hanging out in the street. Guy at the desk pissed when I woke him up to check out. Door lock broken on door toilet hard to flush and ice mch broke down. Not a quiet place at all Guess I should expect this for the price.
