"La Dolce Casa" 4 Bed Home 15 min driving from The White House!

Welcome to La Dolce Casa, our fabulous and recently renovated house in Brookland DC. Located about 15-20 min driving from the White House, the house is perfect for couples, families with children, or groups of friends. Admire the sunset over a glass of wine on the front porch after a long day of sightseeing, or relax watching some TV in the beautifully decorated living room.

Neighborhood Description
Closest metro is Brookland metro on the Red Line (10-15 min walking from the house).
Brookland DC is our neighborhood. There are lots of places to eat in the neighborhood (all about 10-15 min walking from the house): Busboys and Poets (nice brunch and kid friendly), Brookland Pint (nice beer garden), Starbucks, &Pizza, Chipotle, etc. Brookland Farmers Market is open on Saturdays in the morning. For families with children, Turkey Thicket playground is worth visiting with its indoor swimming pool (about 5 min driving from the house).
Famous Union Market and La Cosecha are only a few minutes driving from the house. In particular, try the Japanese ramen stand at Union Market, and the Peruvian food stand at La Cosecha are so worth trying (try beef empanadas and lomo saltado).

Getting Around
Brookland metro on the Red Line is within 10-15 min walking. Capital Bikeshare bikes are also one block away from the house at the corner between 18th St and Monroe St. Lots of buses will also take you to Brookland metro. For those driving, 1 free parking space is available in the back of the house. Free street parking is also available across the street.

On the upper level, you’ll find a full bathroom, a queen bedroom (queen size bed), a kids room with bunkbeds (2 twins), and a bedroom with a full size bed.

On the middle level, you will find a fully equipped kitchen, living room and dining area, laundry area and a half bathroom.

On the lower level, you will find a second living room with a kitchenette, a full bathroom and another bedroom with a full size bed.

We also have one sofa bed in each living room. The house can comfortably host up to 8 guests sleeping on the beds and max 10 guests, including two guests sleeping on the sofa beds.

*STAIRS: The house has three level with steep stairs, so it’s not suitable for people with limited mobility.
