Too closed to I-95. So much noise at night from the tracks driving on I-95. The floor in the room was dirty. Free breakfast but can’t even call it breakfast.

The staff was very helpful. He checked us in promptly. It was noisy at night other patrons slamming doors, A charge was made to our room so we were not refunded out entire deposit. Could be the staff or another customer. Heating units gave off a moldy smell.

Comfortable sleep, property and staff need work
Positives are bed was comfortable, good tv service. Negatives are carpet was not vacuumed before we checked in. Toilet would not flush properly unless you held the handle. Cleaning service attempted to enter the room (physically tried opening the door but we had the safety lock in place) 1.5 hrs before check out time. She knocked, did NOT announce herself and then attempted to open the door. When we went to desk to checkout, no one was at the desk. We waited a short bit and a guy got up from the business center computer and came over to check us out. He looked at us when we walked by but still waited before he got up to assist. When voicing my complaint about the cleaning service incident, two managers came out from back. They apologized but didnt offer anything for the inconvenience.

Comfortable, clean and convenient stay
This Holiday Inn Express was very nice for our 3 night stay. Staff was always very pleasant. We found the room to be very clean, and breakfast was very good. Free bus to Vienna Metro just steps away from the front door.

Employee tried entering my room at 2:30AM
DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. I am 9 months pregnant and was staying here for a school event , by myself. Immediately when I walked in the hotel smelled , the front desk person was not very polite seemed like he had "better things to do" then check me in. They placed my room right next to the elevator so I could hear people all night long. I checked in at 4:45 and then around 2:30 in the morning woke up to a staff member using his keys to try and open my door ... thankfully i had the hinge lock, locked at the top. I have major anxiety so I started having a panic attack because they began banging on my at 2:30 in the morning because I wouldn't open the door (again I am a young pregnant female traveling alone) Once they stopped banging they called my room to ask me if hat my confirmation number was because someone put me in the wrong room. I never even went back to sleep because of how freaked out I was. I didn't even stay the whole time I was supposed to because of how traumatized I was from the situation , yet they still charged my card the full price & incidentals and the manager refuses to get back in contact with me. 0/10.

The day before check-in, I got an email saying Holiday Inn was unable to honor the reservation, and offered to move the reservation to Springhill Suites. I confirmed via email and phone that this was acceptable, and got a confirmation number for Springhill Suites. At check-in with Springhill Suites, I was informed that the Holiday Inn called that hotel to cancel the reservation as they had a room open after all. They did not call me to give me that option, or inform me in any way.

The hotel is older but well maintained. The breakfast was very good but crowed every morning. Hard to find seats for a family. Long line to get food. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The location is not walkable to any dining other than that at the hotel. We had choose this hotel for the electric car charging. To our surprise, there was only one charging station at this large hotel. There were MANY electric vehicles needing the one charger. We ended up having to pay to recharge at the rental return.

Overall the room is clean as well as the property itself. Front desk was friendly and check in was super quick. My only complaint is the water in the tub was not draining.
