"A bit of heaven it was! The view is exactly like the photo. The private beach down some steps was amazing. Bus stop at end of the driveway. It will take you from one end of the island to the other. Bus operators are so helpful. The apartments are on an hill as are most accommodations that have amazing ocean views! Each apartment is private. This one had lovely deck with chairs, lounges overlooking the ocean. A pool is a few steps away . ."

"The one bedroom called Heavens Above is one of the loveliest locations you can find. This was also enhanced by the wonderful hospitality of Katie & Malcolm! It's an older place but don't let that stop you. It has everything you need for a quiet get away. Private access to Marley Beach is a great perk. My wife and I preferred just staying there watching the birds while having our meals outdoors and swimming both on the beach and in the pool. (Snorkeling is fine there too!) The week we had flew...

"The property was exactly as it looks online. It was very big and spacious with all kinds of amenities. The owner was easy to communicate with and answered our questions promptly. She provided beach towels, umbrellas, and bikes. Check in was easy. You can see the ocean from the house and the walk to the beach isn’t bad if you’re in good shape. There is a grocery store and restaurant nearby- but probably too far to walk. There is also a good food delivery service I wish I had known about...

"The staff was aware that we are celebrating our 51st Anniversary this year, so we received a nice gift of a bubbly and a cheese tray! Very nice touch and thoughtful! Restaurant 1609 serves very good food & we enjoyed excellent burgers for 2 lunches in a row! Although we found that charging us an extra $2.00 for a few slices of tomatoes is really silly! The bedroom is OK. The bathroom: the light flickers but no one came to fix. The hand-held shower cannot be fixed to the wall stand & fell often. The water flow was a bit weak. Please DO NOT publish our names, but rather use "elderly couple from Canada". Thank you."
