"Ana and Carlos are lovely, generous hosts who organised and prepared all, including welcome cake and drinks. The studio is attached to a beautiful house in the middle of the island, near south shore beaches, with good access to the city of Hamilton. The gardens and pool are lush. "Great place to stay! Beautiful house, great beds and comfortable furniture to relax on. The pool off the back door is perfect when you want to skip the beach. The bus stops are a quick walk and after a day or two we were able to figure transportation out. Market across the street came in handy! Leila really went all out for us! "Mike and Kim were amazing and gracious hosts. We stayed for a long weekend, Thursday-Sunday, and we had everything we needed. The house was beautiful, clean, accommodating, and in an amazing location with a breathtaking view of the beach. Upon our arrival, Mike met us to give a brief tour before running to his pickleball game. Before leaving, he made sure we had everything we needed - Wi-Fi, taxi numbers, etc. He even had some good jokes. Highly recommend"

"Beautiful, comfortable home in a secluded location, about 20 minutes walk to town and 5-6 minutes walk to a bus stop. Great water access, we enjoyed a swim every day (recommend water shoes). Excellent kitchen facilities, we made great use of the stove, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher and the Keurig (we didn’t utilize the grill on the deck). Very quiet, we really didn’t hear any noise from the adjacent businesses. We look forward to a return visit."

"Lorna and her family are beautiful people. The Gemstones Property is high on a hill overlooking the most beautiful beach (Cross Bay) During our stay we basically had the beach to ourselves. The walk to beach from Gemstones is fairly steep but there are two other routes. It’s not an issue to sway a decision to stay here. "We had a fantastic stay. They had all the amenities that we could stay in or all the maps and attraction pamphlets needed to keep busy everyday. Public transportation was near the stores so it was easy to pick up what you need and walk about a block and a half to get back home. "I have stayed at this property 4 times now and it is amazing . The location is great. 5 min walk to crystal caves and the swizzle inn . The hotel has its own private cave pool and the private beach is fabulous . The hotel restaurant has one of the best breakfast buffets. The staff is great and go above and beyond to be helpful. The even have a laundry on premises that you can use for 2$ detergent included . The bus stops right in front of the hotel and it's 2.90 per person one way to basically go anywhere on the island . "
