"I saw reviews saying there was no AC. We had no issues. In fact our room was freezing, LOL. We loved it! We wanted a place just to stay the night, we knew we wouldn’t be in the hotel for very long. I was so impressed by the location! It is so close to everything. I had never been to Rhode Island before, but booked a bunch of dinners that were recommended 2 months ago. "Admiral Sims house was so charming and quaint. Our room was beautiful, clean and peaceful. Super high ceilings and natural light. The bed was sooo comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay. Marie and Shelley were a pleasure. We were walking distance to everything if you do t mind walking 15 min. We would definitely book the Admiral Sims house again. "

"We stayed for one night between visits to Newport and Boston. This is a really cute little town that I am happy to have discovered through an effort to avoid the crazy hotel prices in Newport. It was a nice big space with everything you need. Check in was easy with good instructions. The only issue is that it is on a main street with a lot of traffic (noise). Would have been easily remedied with white noise but my husband doesn't do white noise. :("

"The apartment is relatively fresh and clean, but old. The street is sketchy with lots of potholes leading to it. The parking was not ideal - part of the road was flooded so it was impossible to park without blocking someone else’s car. There is no decent view from the apartment. Would not be eager to come back."
