Clean and comfortable room in a nice house, which is on a steep slope. Street parking is available a few houses down the slope. The host was pretty responsive.

One of the best hotels in New Zealand. I would give it seven stars. Staff was very accommodating and helpful. Room was spacious and very luxurious. La carte breakfast was excellent. Mini bar was well stocked. It felt like home away from home.
