Stayed here for one week in July. Host was an excellent communicator - I had several questions throughout the stay and Barry and Carol were so quick getting back to me. This house is right in historic Warren. We walked to restaurants, coffee houses, and Dels frozen lemonade. House is located short walk from the biking trail too. I worked remotely while here and wifi was great. Only downside was no dishwasher but I knew that going in. Downstairs is another rental unit and was occupied for a few days of our stay. If I hadn't seen them unloading their car, I would not have known though! Another great positive is that there is dedicated parking behind the house - so no need to parallel park on the street. I would absolutely stay here again.
My family of 5 stayed here for commencement weekend. Perfect size for us, very clean, super comfortable beds, very comfortable property in a nice neighborhood. Would recommend.
Historic house. The beds were amazingly comfortable. Clean and had every comfort provided. Owner quick to respond.Quaint RI town with great restaurants and shops. Easy access to Providence and Newport. Great beach close by in Bristol.
I highly recommend this home!! We stayed there as a family of six (2 adults, 4 kids) and had a very comfortable stay. The absolute best part about this place was the location— right on the East Bay bike path and next to a main strip of stores and restaurants. Warren is the best town for restaurants and you are in the middle of all of it. It was very clean. There were window units that kept the place very cool and blackout curtains that made rooms dark. Overall, we had a great experience!

Quaint town, historic house, everything you could need. Very responsive owner who continues to listen to feedback. Well located between Providence and Newport. Good week.

A touch of home
A historic house in an historic, walkable quaint village which is not too far from lots of varied activities. Comfortable private bedrooms, well appointed kitchen. Very attentive hosts who are responsive to questions and suggestions.
My family stayed in Warren to visit my daughter, who had just moved here. We like this place for the most part and plan to return.Pros: the location of this rental cannot be beat, just a short walk to numerous restaurants, shops and parks. If you plan to sightsee, it's an easy drive to either Providence or Newport attractions. The house has a well-equipped kitchen. Beds are comfortable. The two living room areas are cozy, and one has lovely old stained glass windows that look out over Main Street. The owner lives next door and is friendly but not intrusive.Cons: the layout of the 2nd floor is odd. One bedroom opens either into another bedroom or into a stairwell that is open to the first floor. The smaller living room/office is across the hall and not really connected to the rest of the spaces. And the stairs to the 2nd floor are very steep and curved. Anyone with mobility issues should choose the 2-bedroom downstairs unit instead.
This is a very cool house historic house, with all the quirks of an old house. The good: 1. the host Barry was very responsive and helpful, 2. the location made it easy walking distance to the cool parts of Warren, 3. AC was in everyroom which is great in summer. 4. clean upon arrival and the kitchen had most things you would need for a short stay. The things that could be improved: 1. the biggest is the interior security. There are separate upstairs and downstairs units, but the only things that secures them are those weak chain door locks (see pick), and the little bolt style secondary locks didn't actually line up and lock. One of the bedroom doors kept coming ajar b/c the latch wouldn't work. Very creepy to come back into the room when the door would be ajar. This would be an easy fix for the owners to make. They're open to feedback, so hopefully they will soon. 2. The street noise from Main St. right outside can be very loud if the AC unit is not running. That may disrupt sleep for some. 3. The shower drain was totally clogged upon arrival. We were showering with water up to our shins after a few minutes. 4. Fire alarm was chirping when we arrived; would have expected that to be caught during cleaning (though an easy fix).
