The Perfect Getaway
A lovely modern house with all the comforts and plenty of space for adults and secure outdoor grass area for the children, easy walking access to the beach. Peaceful (apart from the lovely ocean sound). Stunning views of the mountain, ocean and sunsets.

Great location
Lovely bright, well equipped holiday home. We didn't have the best weather, so it was great to have plenty of room inside. Sky TV, magazines and board games were a bonus, as was the huge fenced section that our little dog loved.

Fabulous location

Super Nice
This is our first visit to New Zealand, coming from the United States. We loved our stay our here. The home has beautiful views from looking at the Tasman Sea from one deck and Mount Taranaki from the other deck. Beautiful landscaping. We were provided with lots of coffee, paper products and toiletries. Very quiet and relaxing. Bryan (the owner) checked on us upon arrival and when we left Very nice host. You will love it here.

Lovely and clean, great facilities, very relaxing, the photos of the sea view weren’t taken from the bach we stayed, which was a little disappointing. We’re very grateful we could take our little dog, thanks again.

Hi Lorna Thanks for your feed back and can assure you no deception has been intended. Some of the ocean view photos are taken from up by the front fence and you have to walk up the front lawn to get those views so are not the same as you get from the house but are available from the property. Amazing location and brilliantly thought out house with petanque lawn, firepit, sea and mountain views. Heaven on earth. Sky for Australian open tennis was a bonus too. Will definitely be back.

Beautiful, quiet location on the rugged Taranaki coastline. The property was well appointed, comfortable beds and furniture and kitchen had everything we needed. Very clean and tidy. Lovely extras on arrival in the lollie jar!

Was just as described, everything you need. Views and walks and a big yard to play in. Quiet rural setting but close to supplies as well. The 4square in okato was very well stocked.

Great get away from it all
Comfortable, quiet, private and well appointed. My family and I enjoyed a stay here to have a break following a busy family Christmas holiday before we returned home. I was surprised by how big the outdoor space was. Great for throwing the frisbee. While our family of 4 enjoyed on our own it would be a great place for a larger group also with a secure fenced yard for a dog

Home away from home
Modern, warm and well appointed home for when you want a getaway or a bit of a treat. Everything you need plus close proximity to beach and river for strolls and fesh air. Good fire, lovely views of both mountain and sea. Comfy beds with good linen. We had a girls weekend away, in the end I couldn't stay and just visited, but my mates highly recommend the accomm and my afternoon on the couch makes me certain I'll be booking again. Real nice place and extremely good value.

Wonderful hideaway
A lovely, modern, fully contained beach hideaway; we were very comfortable, and the accommodation suited our party (a family group of parents, adult children and their partners) well. Warm and cozy when it needed to be, and also enjoyed spending time outside on the deck during the day. Would definitely come again.

The location was fantastic - and within walking distance to the local fishing club. Lots of land with Surf in front & a quick walk to the river. The unit itself was beautifully appointed and nothing was lacking. We had our dog with us so were grateful to find somewhere nice that felt like home. Recommend it.

Best Holiday in years. Such an idyllic spot barely 30 min South of New Plymouth. Really clean and tidy, too nice to call it a Bach. Go there you won't be disappointed.

Thank you for a wonderful stay! The cabin was everything and more - and quiet, secluded and very relaxing. Very well-appointed, fabulous views, gorgeous night skies. It is a bit of a drive to get anywhere (As the ad mentioned, it's about 30 minutes to New Plymouth) so you have to be organized with shopping, etc. Take a chilly bin for frozens. It's a little slice of paradise and we really appreciated our stay.

This property is nicely appointed, if you are a surfer or enjoy rugged coastline for outdoor activities this is perfect. A reasonable drive for us to enjoy garden festival activities, not many this side of mountain
