"Staff were very friendly, food was great. Harbour view room not that great. Had to look sideways to see the harbour. Wasn’t really worth the extra charge. The bed pillows were too soft and bed was soft."

"Excellent hotel. Very well managed, great staff, very helpful. Food was very good including the breakfast. The terrace is a very nice area to have lunch or dinner during the summer. We didn’t have a chance to test the bar but it did look very appealing. Happy Hour is somewhat tricky as the promotion highlights drinks at half price but then the drinks are served in half size glasses…The Happy Hour food menu is also very limited. One issue was the air conditioning on our floor which was kept at a very low level so it was freezing when walking in the hallway. Our room was very nice and importantly we controlled the AC. However, the cleaning staff tended to turn on the AC at a very low level when cleaning the room and it was freezing in our room when we were getting back…. Wasted energy and not good for the environment."

"As its a very old building and only 2 or 3 star....lots of stairs....good free wifi......taxis do not seem to know where it is..but Uber are great...they are building a new addition of maybe 10 budget rooms....not sure of finishing or opening date"

"Location was excellent in terms of getting to the boardwalk. The property is in great condition with parking close by. The staff we interacted with were all friendly and courteous. The breakfast in the morning was varied and excellent. I would highly recommend!"

"One day of our 3 night stay, they didn’t make up our room. We called about it, and were given several excuses as to why it wasn’t done. She should have just said, “we’re sorry we’ll send someone right up,”and we would have been fine. Did not need the excuses, they only made us mad. The room was cleaned promptly however. Other than that hiccup, it was a fabulous stay. Loved everything about this hotel!"
