"It was our first time at a B&B. We were not disappointed. From our greeting upon arrival to our departure, we felt at home at this lake front bed and breakfast. The furnishings were what you'd expect at a Northern Minnesota themed home. From the cozy front room to the porch overlooking the lake and from the floating dock to the rustic swing for two a the lakefront, it could not have been more inviting. add a good night's sleep and an excellent breakfast, we could not have asked for a first time at a B&B. Gary was a gracious host and this will not be our only time spent there. We will be back. "

"Very peaceful stay among the trees and near the river. We loved sitting on the little dock (it being there was a nice surprise), and watching the river flow. Our dog liked jumping into the water which was clean and clear and only about a foot deep in our section. You can’t see the water from inside the cabin but the natural light through the old-growth oak trees more than makes up for it, it is stunning. The cabin itself was very comfortable, well-decorated, and thoughtfully stocked with necessities."

"The owner is phenomenal and doing an amazing job turning this property into a great place for a quiet getaway! The rooms are updated nicely and include complimentary snacks. The property is right on the lake with a beautiful swimming beach. The new outdoor sauna is amazing. Only wish we would have had more time to stay longer. Will definitely be going back even if just for the new boutique ice cream shop!"

"I booked for a one queen bed room and when we arrived, Americ’inn staff upgraded our room to the honeymoon suite when they found out it was for our first night as a married couple! "

"Our group of eleven men used the property for a three day get away to fish on Leech Lake. As recommended by the hosts, nearby Trapper's Landing was extremely accommodating to arrange the boat slips and trailer storage we needed. The well equipped kitchen facility had everything our "cook" needed to provide daily breakfast and dinner for everyone. The great room and kitchen comfortably accommodated our large group. If we return to Leech Lake, we will definitely want to stay here again."

"Host was attentive and quick to respond. Home was charming and had lots of room. Quiet neighborhood, yet a short walk to town to dine or shop. Bike trail a short block away with access to a variety of scenic trails. We are starting to plan our next visit!"
