Relaxing Getaway
The property was a great location on the lake. It had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The hot tub needed some TLC but it was hot outside so spent a lot of time in the lake and on the water toys.

Great weekend getaway
Had a great weekend getaway! Was perfect for two families to hang out and enjoy the lake. The dock was beautiful! For the price wish there were steak knives and a blind in the loft so that it was dark when kids wanted to go to bed early. Love the amenities from the bikes ( wish both were working) to the paddle board and kayaks. Had a blast!

Weekend at the Lake
The home was lovely. It was a perfect fit for our group. The upstairs loft was surprisingly roomy for our teen girls. 4 full size bunks! The water toys were a plus. The hydro bikes were a big hit. The kids spent a few mindless afternoons fishing and splashing. The kids discovered the games and found a few we will be adding to our own collection. Our first visit to the lake and we would definitely rent again! Great location!

Lakefront long weekend
From the reservation to check out, this was a very easy process. Tyler was responsive to every question and the home provided everything we needed. Boat rental was easy although we had kayaks, paddle board and water bikes as part of the property. Definitely hope to return.

Supper cute stay in a hidden gem!
Did not expect to find such a great area to stay at in Georgia. The house is amazing and in a gated community on a lake that was just perfect! It was quite and calming. The owner was extremely nice and made us feel at home! We will definitely be returning!

Spring Break 2021
This cabin was everything that we imagined it to be and we really enjoyed ourselves. This location is a great to get away from the hustle and bustle and helps you slow down and enjoy the outdoors while spending time with family. We love to adventure and took advantage of the communities great trails as well as we visited a local winery called Big Door. Tyler was a great host and reached out a few times during our stay to ensure that we had everything that we needed. We will be back! Thank you Tyler....

Get Away From it All
We are looking forward to visiting this property again! Clean, great layout and has the essentials you need. Hit the grocery and grab what you need because once you arrive you won’t want to leave. Nice having all the water toys, amazing dock and hot tub was really cleaned. All around loved this place.

The Perfect Getaway
From the initial booking through leaving Tyler's communication was wonderful -- from random questions to general stay information. The house is like stepping into a HGTV "after," perfectly curated with comfy in mind. The kitchen was well equipped for seven nights of cooking in for five people. We spent most of our time outside. The deck area is just great. There is something for everyone's taste. So glad we rented the boat, it was great to be able to just come and go as we wanted and be able to check out the entire lake. The water was clean and great for swimming. The community has nice, well marked hiking trails. I can't imagine you would ever regret staying here!

Fantastic slice of summer!
We've been repeat clients of BlueGill Basecamp. It is set up perfectly for a family or friends to have a relaxing weekend on the lake. Swim, water bike, canoe, paddleboard, kayak and more all in the clear, quiet surrounds of Lake Arrowhead. Cabin is well equipped and clean perfect for those buffet style feasts or curling up to watch a movie. Had another great weekend!! Thanks T!

Family Getaway
Used this location as vacation to gather the family that has been spreading out over several states. Everyone loved the house and deck/dock and we have already talked about a return stay. The house was clean, comfortable, and very well equipped. Loved the deck and dock. We spent days swimming, fishing, boating, kayaking, and riding hydrobikes.

Weekend get away
The property was exactly as advertised. The water toys, the deck the barbecue grill it was all great. The lake was great with an expanded no way zone making it perfect for Kayaking and Canoeing. The facility was more than adequately supplied with a wide variety in life jackets and sizes of each. The place was well supplied with all kitchen utensils. We grilled out every night on the charcoal grill. My spouse and i cannot wait to return to the property.

Great Lake house for fishing
Had a few issues to start but Tyler (owner) was very responsive - he also was great on following up with us to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Great dock deck and a 2nd raised deck. Interior was nice. The only negative would be lack of an outdoor table for dining on upper deck so you could eat and enjoy the view. I’d also recommend a blackout curtain for master bedroom. But overall, very nice place and we would come back.

Michael, Thanks so much for the feedback. As a result of your input, we added blackout curtains in the master bedroom to help those who want to sleep in a bit without getting blinded by a sunrise. We also added a custom cedar outdoor table so you can eat outside and enjoy the view. Thanks again for staying with us!

COVID19 free!
This 4 night visit with our immediate family was such a nice break because the whole time we were able to forget that COVID19 even existed. We isolated from everyone in this beautiful space and enjoyed each other playing in the water and sun without the need for a facemask! Owner, Tyler, was always available to answer our questions. Love everything about Bluegill Basecamp.

Perfect location and clean
We had a group of 5 stay at the home. Everything was clean and updated. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of utensils, cooking supplies, towels, etc. The location has an excellent view of the lake and we enjoyed using the kayaks and hydro-bikes. The deck was fantastic. During the day lots of room to lay out, fish and have morning breakfast. At night you can enjoy the sunset and have a nice fire. Tyler was an excellent host and easy to reach if you do have questions. Would recommend

I enjoyed my stay. The house was clean and well maintained. The upper deck and dock were a good size and kept up well. The Hydo-bikes were a nice amenity. I only have a few small recommendations. Blinds or curtains on the front door and kitchen and living room windows. Black out curtains for the master bedroom doors. Instructions on how to use the fireplace, TVs and locking the front door. It is a nice ,peaceful and clean location with a lovely view . I would recommend it. Thank you for allowing me to spend time in your nice home.

Incredible in every way
Beautiful home right on Lake Arrowhead. Comfortably slept our group of 8, appliances, furnishings, fixtures, everything in the house was brand new. House had everything including big bbq grill and large multi-level oversized dock with many water toys we used a lot. Lake Arrowhead is beautiful as our boys swam and fished a lot. Wi-fi was also exceptional as having a bunch of us being able to use our devices at night, there was never a slow down. This home being right on the water is exceptional getaway for any size family. We really enjoyed our time here and most definitely would like to come back!
