"Stayed here for an anniversary trip. Spent 8 nights in an ocean front cabin C. It was a 2bed 2 bath house with a large living room and a decent kitchen. Three was a front d ck and a rear deck. The rear deck had two Rick bg chairs and two Adirondack chairs. Below the rear deck was a cement slab with two lounge chairw, table w4 chairs, and a gas bbq. We were about 40yards from the beach. From the back patio, we could not see our neighbors. We had a feral cat that greeted us every morning and evening. Would not let you pet but hung out for food scraps. Check in was real easy and they give you real keys. The clerk was friendly and helpful. The property is real quiet and spread out. The restaurant attached was pretty good and had a cool self serve beer selection. Keep in mind these Cottages are a part of the areas history and are not modern except for the furniture and AC. We did find some cobwebs with spiders in the bathroom. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen came with everything needed but food items such as salt and pepper. They provide coffee which I didn't care for. Behr you go shopping, check the kitchen for coffee filters if you purchase coffee. We added the coffee filters we purchased to the drawer full of filters!! Just as the description says, they are next to a non swimming beach. The water appears to be pretty rough with rip currents. The black sands beach was nice to watch the sunsets which you'll have a good view of. Horses frequent the beach."

"We LOVED this resort! It’s a close drive to the airport, has stunning views, and the staff is super nice and helpful! The room was great, clean, and housekeeping was so nice. The resort is just enough out of the way that you’re not right in the middle of town, but you’re close enough to everything in just a short drive. The restaurant on property was great & the pool and bar were also great. There was construction happening while there but we never heard anything and they weren’t in the way. The rooms are sound proof so we never heard our neighbors. A perfect spot for a family or a couple. We will be back! :)"

"We travel a lot and this has got to be the best resort we have ever stayed at in our lives.It was top notch. If we come back to hawaii, we will definitely without a doubt. Stay there again. Upon checking, we were greeted with a fresh flower orchid lei. The beds were so comfortable and the cleanest rooms ever. The shampoo conditioner body wash and lotions have the most amazing aromas and leave your skin and hair feeling so fresh, clean and healthy.They do sell them so that you can buy them at the spa. The swimming pools are continuous and feed into each other.In such an amazing and private way that you literally feel like you are the only one on the resort at times. The restaurant the food was amazing.I highly recommend the filet with the wine reduction sauce and the mini cheesecake with creme brulee, topping and fresh fruit.Oh it was so good. They definitely pay attention to every little detail to make you feel the most comfortable and pampered that you've ever felt in your life. I could go on and on about all the amazing memories.That place gave me. "

"We loved our room, it was a ground floor room facing the pool. I travelled as a single mom with 2 kids and this was perfect. We could leave our pool floats and beach toys on the deck and go in and out. This made it so easy with the kids. The kids LOVED the kid pool and the big pool. Both were great! There was always enough chairs to sit, even if we didn’t get out there until mid day. The beach was AMAZING. The water here is calmer than at other beaches and there is less wind. I suggest renting chairs and umbrella from a rental place in town, that makes the beach experience perfect. We will definitely be back! "
