    Spend your days exploring the amazing Big Island of Hawaii and come home to relax in this elegant penthouse-floor Waikoloa condo! Get in your morning work out at the shared fitness center, or take laps around the private loop road within the gated community, practice your serve on the tennis court, and head to the community pool and hot tub for a relaxing dose of sunshine. Back at the condo, you'll have a gorgeous lanai with mountain and golf course views, complimentary high-speed WiFi, and two flatscreen TVs.

    The Neighborhood:

    This condo sits half a mile from the ocean beach in front of the Hilton, where you can spend an amazing morning swimming with dolphins. If golf is your game, you'll find the Waikoloa Beach Resort golf courses less than a mile and a half away where you can play 9, 18, or 27 holes! The Kings’ Shops are about half a mile away, where you can dine at several restaurants and shop at places like Macy’s and Tommy Bahama, enjoy a local favorite at Roy's, or walk across the street to Queen's Marketplace for many more shopping and dining options, including Starbucks, a food court, and the Waikoloa Cinemas where you can catch a movie with lunch or dinner! Come happy hour there are many choices. You can dip your toes in the sand at the popular Lava Lava Beach Club (which has wonderful sunsets and live music), check out the Aloha Wine Bar at Queens’ Marketplace, or just next door, head over to Tropics Ale House for a wide variety of beers and drinks, just to name a few.

Wonderful Waikoloa Escape!

Although not on the beach, several beaches are easily walkable, and many within short driving distance. Pool area was clean and quiet. Restaurant choices were plentiful within walking distance.Condo was well maintained, clean, and had a delightful shaded afternoon view. Overall great vacation!

Great Place to Stay!

This property is located in a great resort village with easy access to shopping, restaurants, beaches, golfing and many other amenities. Most everything is within easy walking distance, and there are many paved pathways in the area. This is a super location for exploring the big island's many resources and is close to the airport and Kona. The condo was very clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The lanai was a perfect place to enjoy a cup of Kona coffee in the morning, with a nice breeze and colorful variety of visiting birds in the large tree adjacent. We would love to return!

Quiet condo with mountain views at Shores at Waikoloa

My wife and I stayed here for a week in March to celebrate my birthday and to visit friends who live on the Big Island. The apartment was spacious with a large balcony for outside dining, and we had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. It was close to the Kings Shops and Queens Marketplace, plus there was a bar just 100 yards away for casual dining. A minor drawback was that there was not sufficient lighting in the living room or the bedroom to read by in the evenings.

Great stay

This condo is nice. Nothing fancy but good for the price. The bed was comfortable enough. The pans and knives were great. No spices just S&P. The air turns off every 4 hours which was kind of a pain. I asked for more beach towels, there was only 2 and they were kids size. They were very prompt delivering. Vacasa was easy to deal with. Thanks for letting us stay!

Second visit to the Shores at Waikoloa!

We really enjoyed our two-week stay at this third floor unit. From the large deck, we had a great eastern view of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa, as well as the golf course and lava field; this also made it sunny in the morning as well as cool and shady in the afternoon. The unit is very spacious and well equipped, including nice touches like a coffee grinder, ice maker, great air conditioning, beach chairs/umbrellas, and a very complete set of kitchen utensils and supplies. We’ve stayed at the Shores before and really enjoy the meticulous upkeep, spaciousness, and the amenities.

Clean spot however relatively secluded

The condo was large for two people and clean however the owner had control over the thermostat and constantly reset the place to 88 degrees F every 4 hours. This led to a few sleepless nights and is enduring a few hours of the unit trying to get back down when we could change it. The condo has a great view of Mauna Kea and huge patio but by no means is an easy walk to the ocean. I splurged on this site thinking it was close enough to walk but it’s about a 20 minute walk in highly exposed HOT heat. The community is also gated (my first experience with one) and it felt boring to me. Very few people out, almost like a ghost town and those that were there seemed to be a bit dodgy eyed and reclusive, weird vibe altogether. Kona had a much more chill vibe in my mind.

It was great. The Shores are quiet and a lovely place to be. Close to everything. Condo is very clean. It is older however the hosts ensure it is clean and well cared for. The views from this condo are amazing. It was a great stay! Mahalo!

Everything you need at Waikoloa Shores.

This spacious one bedroom pad offers everything you need for a comfy stay in Waikoloa. The kitchen has all the essentials, including a washer and dryer. We slept well and enjoyed our morning coffee on the wrap around lanai with a great view of Mauna Loa. Just a short walk to the pool and jacuzzi. A two minute drive to the King’s and Queen’s shopping center. Loved it.
