Sunset House

Spacious house with gorgeous sunset views from the lanai. Beautifully decorated in a combination of Hawaiian and SE Asian style. New tile floors and tiled shower in master bathroom. Large and nicely landscaped garden and yard including a gazebo.

The house is about a 30 minute drive from Kona airport and 15-20 minutes from the beautiful kohala coast beaches. There is a shopping center with restaurants, a grocery store and a gas station about 2 miles away. The Waikoloa Village Golf Club is just a 5 minute drive. Beach equipment and 3 sets of golf clubs are available in the garage. A/C in master bedroom only, though Waikola winds and plenty of fans keep the house cool for most of the year.

Great Stay with Family
Had a great stay here, perfect for families! Kitchen was fully stocked and great for cooking, and the rest of the house worked great for our group of 5 + an infant. Backyard was beautiful with amazing sunset views.

Amazing property!
This was an amazing property we were very glad to get the chance to stay in! It was very clean, well maintained, and well stocked with supplies. The neighborhood is a great location and easy to get to, with spectacular views of the ocean and surrounding area. The two bathrooms made it an easy stay for our family of 4 (two adult children), and the garage was a great touch to be able to use. We'll definitely stay here again!

Lovely, convenient home
We really enjoyed our stay at Sunset House. Everything was clean and organized, kitchen was well stocked, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The property is nice and the outdoor cats are adorable and friendly. We would stay again if we are lucky enough to make it back to Hawaii sometime!

Lovely view!
There were 6 adults in our party, two elderly. The home was very comfortable and easy for us. The breezy winds kept the place cool- didn’t use the AC at all. The view from the spacious back patio offers gorgeous ocean sunsets. The house is conveniently located for beaches and exploring the north section of the island.

We used be living in Kamuela about 30 years and my old family are still living there. Waikoloa Village area is not so hot and not so cold. This house has air conditioning in master bedroom but no necessary while we stayed. The Sunset view was nice! My daughter and her husband were joining a few days from Seattle. They loved this house. They said “Good weather more than Kamuela”. We want to be back this house again!

Even better than expected
This place was beautiful and stocked with everything you could possibly need. The beds are very comfortable. There were 7 of us and we all had plenty of space. There were condiments, spices, coffee... plenty of dishes, extra towels, pillows, blankets, beach towels, beach blankets, hats, boogie boards, chairs, umbrella, snorkle gear. There was a window unit in the master bedroom, but opening the windows made it cool at night. We were usually gone for most of the day and closed the windows when we were gone to keep the dust down and opened the house up when we got home. There are 4 cats that live in the back outside and they were so sweet and friendly. The sunset views were beautiful. I highly recommend this place.
