We had a family reunion with 15 of us..the accomodations were wonderful...the pool delightful and the poolside restaurant was delicious and affordable. The sunsets were beautiful. I only wish there was a sandy beach right here but other than that it was a most relaxing vacation!!

The Best spot on the Big Island -- July, 2024

We've now stayed at the Hali'i Kai Condos twice -- can't imagine a better location or complex. It is in the perfect location. The units are spectacular. The views are incredible, with the ocean, golf course, and Waikoloa all right in front of you. The Ocean Club restaurant is convenient and relaxing. Such a comfortable place to stay for our family of 5. We will definitely be back!

Great location and property!

It was large, clean, and had EVERYTHING you would need in the kitchen. The view was wonderful from the lanais. There is a trail to walk to the Hilton That goes along the lava coast. Just watch out for golf balls! The pool and clubhouse were nice but the deepest was 4’. The pool did not have umbrellas so if you wanted shade, you had to keep moving. We went off season so there were not a lot of people. Food was decent.

Loved this unit. Previously, we stayed in a ground level two bedroom on the property and MUCH preferred this unit due to its larger size, amazing view, and updated interior. The pool at this property is the best we’ve found on this island for young kids and adults with the most incredible ocean view. We could see whale activity from pool chairs constantly.

We loved our stay in this beautiful condo. It was perfect in every way. The views were amazing. The condo was lovely and so clean and comfortable. We appreciated every extra detail for our comfort and convenience. The little restaurant by the resort spa has the most delicious food, and we loved swimming in the beautiful pools there at sunset after our fun day on the island. The complex was close to everything we enjoy, including golf. It was fun to watch my husband and son play as they came around the beautiful 7th hole (me, watching from the lanai). It was truly a wonderful place to stay!

Super relaxing

This is the second time we rented this particular unit. It is nicely furnished, with a well appointed kitchen. Our two grand children were most comfortable in their own downstairs bedroom, while their parents enjoyed the upstairs room. The Hali'i Kai environment is one of the nicest on the coast; the only ocean front development with views from a multitude of units. The pool with the restaurant for Hali'i Kai guests is fantastic. We plan to come to the Kohala coast again next year. Thank you, Michelle.

Love Halii Kai

We LOVE Halii Kai We have been coming for over 15 years. LOVE the community, everyone is friendly, love the location. We like that this Unit had the gold golf package. Beneficial when both my husband and I golf . My only suggestion on this unit is updating the carpet. It is the original carpet from many many years ago. It is showing its age.

Great Hawaii exploration!

While we spend a considerable amount of time on Maui, we came here for something different. Location of this unit is great. Don’t expect easy beach access around here, it’s all a short drive and a short walk to say the least. As others have said in reviews, the clubhouse staff is rather rude and the pool is not really a place to take kids. We watched staff reprimand many children for doing nothing more than laughing with each other. The condo is spacious and everything you need is here. It was great having some boogie boards and beach chairs in the garage as well. We had an issue with the smoke alarms going off in the middle of the night but the manager took care of it quickly the next day. Hard to beat this view, this size unit at this price.

Dream Family Vacation

My wife and I took our adult kids and granddaughter on a long awaited tropical vacation. Our stay at Hali Kai 12F was a great way to spend the last week of our Hawaii vacation. The unit had everything we required for cooking great meals. It was comfortable and spacious for 5 adults and a teenager. The pool, gym, restaurant and grounds were all remarkable. We thoroughly enjoyed our dream family vacation.

We loved the location and the condo was clean and perfect for a family ( with teens) . Views were amazing ( sunset and whales from the balconies .) and the pool/ restaurant next door was convenient but not noisy. We’d love to return to this exact unit again!

Unit was fully stocked with everything you need. Has a garage full of beach items, so no need to buy anything but food and drinks. Location is great, close to everything in Waikoloa and close to the pool/bar/restaurant which were all good.

Beautiful condo.

This was a beautiful, well-stocked condo. The upstairs balcony off the bedroom was stunning. We have stayed at a number of properties in Halii Kai, and this was our favorite. The view over the golf course to the ocean was actually better than the ocean front over the lava. We hope to return.
