Great Getaway

This is a very nice place with a fantastic , bbq, pool and hot tub area. The place is comfortable and has everything you need. John has a great stock of snorkeling gear, water fun gear and everything you would need for the beach. He was very responsive and great to deal with.

Zentrale Lage auf Big Island

Der Aufenthalt hat uns sehr gefallen. Die Ferienwohnung hatte alles was man braucht. Der Vermieter John Moss hat uns sehr gute Hinweise und Tips für den Aufenthalt gegeben.

Excellent stay in Ironman week away from the hustle and bustle

Excellent location, great kitchen and KTA store to cook in. Close by to snorkeling and a drive into Kona when needed. Enjoy!

Excellent choice

I have been to the Big Island multiple times and stayed at various locations. This vacation rental was perhaps the best value and location of all my stays. Waikoloa Village is a great choice - close to Kohala beaches and a quick jaunt over the Saddle Road to the Hilo side. We visited the erupting volcano twice and the drive over was very smooth from the village. Great choice! Friendly complex manager and overall fantastic trip.

Great place

We loved the location as it was centrally located for exploring the entire island. Lots of helpful items available which is a huge plus when traveling. Mostly clean except for floor so I still give it a 4 star for that compared to others we have rented!

Wonderful Stay!

This was a great place for our family of 5. It had everything we needed. Well stocked kitchen, beach towels, chairs, etc. We were very happy with the condo. The pool area was nice as well. John was very responsive when we had questions.

Great place

The property was great. Only issue I had was that it didn’t have AC, but it wasn’t listed as having it. Just didn’t know the difference for my first VRBO in Hawaii. Make sure to check pool and fitness times.

Overall a lovely stay

The apartment itself was very good. At times the neighbours were a bit noisy late at night. It was a bit further than we would have liked for the Ironman but would be great for beach stays as not far from Waikoloa beach, shopping and restaurants. Mahalo

Very enjoyable

We had a wonderful stay in John’s condo. Everything was exactly as stated and we were definitely not disappointed. John was very helpful when we had a question. The weather wasn’t always the greatest but that isn’t John’s fault. Thank you John for letting us stay in your unit.

Waikoloa highlands

The owner was fantastic in reaching out and giving travel suggestions. Unfortunately, the tennis courts were closed due to construction. The pool was nicely maintained. The hot tub was having mechanical problems. The location is quite a drive from the beaches, but most things are a drive on the big island. Fantastic snorkeling. The best in Hawaii.

The accommodation, was fine, most every thing we needed was available in the condo, coolers, mask’s snorkels, towels etc. The overall complex i.e. pool and buildings need a bit of tender, loving care. The pool had some missing tile, it didn’t affect use of the pool, but brought attention to the need for some overall maintenance is needed on the outside of the complex.

The property is as described. It has no AC and it was not so clean when we arrived. We could feel sand and dust on the floor. Except for the mentioned above, everything was fine and we had a great stay.

Ok rental

Has everything you need, well equipped, kitchen beach gear, golf clubs etc, complex is well kept and clean but had more of a local residential feel than a vacation home, lots of children playing on an around stairs to the unit in the evening. I thought having no ac would be ok but unit was a bit hot even with multiple fans going. Owner was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Overall it was a good experience and value for the money

Great Location!

The Location is prime if visiting both Hilo and Kona did of the island, as you know the Island requires a lot of driving and this location made everything easier, grocery stores, restaurants, and gas stations all nearby, golf course is awesome and the property owner is nice enough to leave equipment accessible for everyone. Had i hiccup with the check in process but make sure to check all your emails from the owner to ensure a swift check in!

Perfect place for a family

Everything was as described by the owner, location is good, close to all beaches around, close to the store, we enjoyed our stay in this property, thank you John. Also, there is a small clinic in case something happened in just 3 min from the condo.

Great, easy, clean

Everything was nice and clean. There was snorkeling gear, boogie boards, pool noodles and golf clubs provided at the condo which made things a lot more convenient and saved us some money. The complex is nice and quiet and there’s a grocery store right around the corner. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend!
