Stayed at the 2 bedroom plus loft condo for 2 weeks on the Big Island. It was the perfect amount of space for a family of 4.
When we first arrived, the reserved garage space was too small to fit our rental minivan. I called Kona Coast who answered promptly and told us that we could park in the visitor parking and let us know there were parking passes in the condo to place on the dashboard of our vehicle.
Central AC worked very well. We enjoyed watching the golfers tee off while enjoying drinks on the lanai.
We walked to King's shopping plaza for coffee at Island Vintage Coffee every morning. They have really good açaí bowls too. Queens market place was also very close to walk to for more food and shopping options.
We were very close to the multiple bbq grills, open air gym and swimming pool/spa the complex offered. The grounds of the condo were very well maintained and clean.
They provided some toilet paper, paper towels, kitchen sponge, dishwasher detergent and laundry soap. But would recommend buying more if staying for longer than a week. There were plenty of kitchen utensils, pots, cutting boards, crock pot and a rice cooker.
Condo is close to Hapuna Beach. We made trips once a week to Target and Costco in Kona to replenish the refrigerator.
Only minor complaints: Beach umbrella should be replaced. Pillows need to be replaced. Stairs up to the loft not good for small kids or elderly.
We will definitely make this our home base when we return to the Big Island!!
