"Very clean and cozy. We enjoyed our stay here. Love that there is a big pool but sadly the spa wasn’t in action while we stayed but still enjoyed our time here."

We found ourselves at this Hotel because every other place anywhere the venue for the Eagles Concert at Mt Smart Stadium was booked out. It turned out to be a brilliant choice because the Motorway was a complete nightmare any where near Auckland so we chose to drive north to Papakura where we left the car at the "Park & Ride" at Papakura Railway Station" before boarding a suburban train to Penrose where we were able to walk to the venue, At the conclusion of the concert we did the reverse back...

Quick and easy check-in, lived the service. But most importantly loved the cleanliness and modernised room. The bed was so comfy I had to take a look at the mattress so I can enjoy that luxury and buy it 4 myself.

We found all the facilities very comfortable and liked having our own personal balcony off the main bedroom with the afternoon sun pouring in and a handy little table and chairs. Everything that we might need was supplied.

Spacious room, two double singles to form king and an extra single. Room had tidy kitchenette with all the gears in addition to mysky. Bathroom had an enjoyable spa for every night of the stay and everything was clean and tidy, features like the plugs could be replaced and an eventual upcoming bleach and scrub of the seals around the shower, the drains in the sink and the hinges on the toilet ( although only noticable from a long stay).
Room was great stay and quiet, close to central hamilton...

Very clean, great parking and great customer service. Bed was comfortable. Shower pressure and temperature really good. Fridge big enough to fit a large bottle of soft drink. Good value for money.

The managers Aaron and Danny are amazing, professional, yet very friendly. They made sure all our needs were met but allowing us the privacy to enjoy the peace and beauty of the Te Karaka lodge surroundings.
Our meals, prepared by the master chef, Franz were as good as we have experienced in any restaurant . Only the finest ingredients selected by him. Presented beautifully with attention to detail and creating wonderfully unique taste combinations.
We cannot recommend Te Karaka Lodge highly...
