"I was disappointed with the overall attention to detail during my stay. The condition of the linen was below expectations, with towels and bedding appearing worn and discoloured rather than clean and fresh. The pillows were old, thin, and mismatched, and the pillowcases appeared grey despite originally being white. The face cloths were also not in a usable condition. As a result, I felt more comfortable borrowing towels from a friend who lives nearby. The duvet inners were thin and dated, and did not have covers, which impacted comfort. In the kitchen, utensils and glassware were mismatched, and the tea towels were not usable. This stay was intended to be a special weekend away for a friend and I, and it was a significant cost for us. Unfortunately, the quality of the room did not reflect the price or the occasion. While the location is convenient and the parking is good, the overall standard did not meet expectations. As a result, I would not choose to stay here again."

"No spa. Room freshener rather overwhelming. Did not meet any staff except at check-in. Very clean & towels changed daily."

"Great place to stay whilst venturing around the area. Clean and tidy and thoroughly enjoyed the soak in the spa pool after cycling the Historic Rail trail."

"Easy to find and great parking etc. Room clean will definitely stay again if in Waihi for work again. "

"Everything was fine, check in is a bit clunky. Nowhere to park as no access to parking until you have your key. Need to phone to get someone to come down and check you in. Took a while when double parked. Once settled it was fine, plenty of room and a good location. "

"Very spacious apartment. Nice beds, good shower, partial ocean view from deck, view of Mount, car parking included but tight. Great location for beach and cafe. Surrounded by apartments all very close and can see in to each others rooms so blinds closed most of time. Single heat pump "

"Close to a good shopping centre, cleaned daily and kitchenette restocked as well, just try to get a room towards the back as the trucks rumble past at all hours using there engine brakes "
