"There was a beautiful view of the mountains and ocean. The kids enjoyed the pool. There was only one towel, hand towel and wash cloth per person. There were no extra sheets for the extra mattress. Also, no extra blankets. There were a lot of flies dead and flying inside and out of the house."

"The property was in a nice, quiet residential area. It has a beautiful backyard view that we have morning coffee. Also we could unwind in the evening to watch the sunset. The house is spacious as we had 10 people, but never felt crowded. Would comeback again."

"This house was immaculate. Plenty of room for my crew. The mountain vies were beautiful. The ocean views were minimal. But it didn’t take long to get to a beach. The kitchen was supplied wel. The AC was easy to work as well. I would definitely come back."

"Our stay at The Makaha Shaka! was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how beautiful, peaceful, and well‑kept the property was. The villa is exactly as pictured, spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed, with every detail clearly created to make guests feel at home. The outdoor space is a dream. Waking up to mountain views, relaxing in the lounge area, and enjoying the pool and hot tub made every day feel like a private resort experience. The location is perfect too, just a quick 5‑minute drive to the beach, yet tucked away enough to feel quiet and serene. Inside, the villa is modern, comfortable, and fully equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed, the bedrooms were cozy and inviting, and the gym area was a surprisingly great bonus. The whole home is extremely clean and well maintained, and you can tell the hosts take pride in offering a top‑tier experience. Speaking of hosts! They were outstanding. Communication was fast, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. Every question was answered immediately, and they made sure we had everything we needed. We’ve stayed at many rentals, but this one truly stands out. Beautiful views, amazing amenities, perfect location, and exceptional hospitality. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Oahu."
