"As a very experienced traveler with hundreds and hundreds of hotel nights, I dare to say that this is a place that reaches the top ten of good hotel experiences.
Fantastic family that runs a high-quality agriturismo with a view that takes your breath away. Despite few guests in the low season, an absolutely perfect breakfast was arranged and we were even able to have our coffee against the sun wall at the end of January.
The rooms are of course not particularly lavish, but it would have felt...

"What an awesome place to stay! Francesco was so kind and helpful. Flexible for check-in and really took the time to tell us about the area and gave us some great recommendations for dining and attractions nearby. "A great place to escape from the hustle bustle lifestyle. Tranquil peaceful setting is our first impression, followed by the friendliness of the staff. Room we had was one of the worst with no view and right next to a construction site. But this did not stop us from enjoying the well kept grounds and the infinity pool overlooking the Aeolian islands.
Breakfast is adequate with plenty of savory and sweet choices. But dinner menu was limited with very few local fares. Gym is dark and outdated. Almost like an afterthought.
There are signs of construction throughout the property and hopefully that means some pleasant surprises in the near future. "

"Amazing location with superb atmosphere, food, drink, spa and options to explore outside of the hotel and across the other islands. The hotel staff especially are the most amazing team we have ever experienced. "

"This was quite a find! Lovely hotel, extremely well-kept and beautifully decorated. Front desk staff were very helpful. Room was quiet, despite being on the ground floor facing the road. Though it's a little outside of town centre, it was a quick and easy walk (took us less than 20 minutes walk to get to the port, would be a quick bus or taxi ride) and I appreciated the quiet area.
I could write pages about the breakfast - it was fantastic. All fresh and tasty, with four areas of separate options. We vegetarians were spoilt for choice (and there were many meaty options as well). It was lovely to be able to make myself a blood orange mimosa to go along with my coffee each morning!
I highly recommend Milazzo for a quiet holiday and I even more highly recommend Il Principe. I would absolutely stay here again!"
