"Amazing place! Very clean, great location: center of Canneto, right across from the beach (crystal clear water), and 10 min drive to the center of Lipari. The proprietor, Nicola is a very kind and generous person. He helped us with great suggestions, reservations for restaurants and excursions. "Hotel Oriente was in a great location. Easy walk to the main street and both of the marinas. Friendly and helpful staff with a good breakfast. Lovely garden areas and so many museum pieces everywhere to look at. Would choose to stay again on our next visit to the beautiful island of Lipari."

"The property is very cute and the breakfast is great each morning! However, there are many parts of the hotel that were under construction, either being built or fixed. The hottub was empty sitting by my room, so unable to use that. There were also no staff in the afternoons or evenings when I was there, so I could not enjoy the bar aspect of the outdoor dining area. Owner was responsive and said he was having trouble with afternoon staff. Location is convenient to central Vulcano and various...
