"It was very well located, close to the center of Linguaglossa. The gardens were extensive and charming with a wide variety of plants and trees. The staff was very nice and Alfio was the perfect host. The one dinner we had at the hotel restaurant was exceptional. Highly recommended."

"The perfect stay in the quaint lovely small town of Castliglione de Sicilia. Great location if you’re going to hike Mt Etna. Comfortable clean rooms with gorgeous views from the rooms and communal rooftop. Highly recommend if you want a quiet more local stay."

"Located on a mountain top. Nice view. Above a restaurant on a hillside with narrow stairwells, Parking was in a garage down the hillside. Breakfast wasn't served until 9:00. Was assigned a room on the 3rd floor with a sloped roof. "

"Staff were great and very helpful, Though we found we got better/faster responses to questions when emailing directly versus using expires messenger. The breakfast was wonderful with lots of options. We also ate an evening meal there and it was delicious. Centrally located for for exploration of the etna region. Room was very clean. "We had the most lovely stay at Antico Borgo Etneo. Conveniently located 5 minutes from the train station, the property is gorgeous, our room was very clean and relatively cool considering we were in the middle of a heat wave. Great hospitality and a scrumptious breakfast (we’ll be thinking about that lemon chiffon cake for ages). We would stay again the next time in Calatabiano. Grazie a tutti!"
