"Nice small farmhouse. Very interesting history with a fun photo book. Conveniently close to downtown, yet still can see the dark sky at nite for great star gazing. Short walk to a fishing hole at the Pedernales River. The host left farm fresh eggs and homemade pancake syrup for some great breakfasts!"

"Excellent place, we came to Fredericksburg to see the snow and this was the perfect spot. Everyone was so hospitable. The gentleman that checked us in made sure we had everything we needed. When we woke up they had spread salt all around our vehicle so we would not slip. Very nice touch"

"This house was great for a large group trip to Fredericksburg. Spacious common areas, well equipped kitchen, cute porch area. Note that two of the listed restrooms are inside of bedrooms, which worked fine for us but is something to consider as you allocate bedrooms. Would stay here again. "

"Location was less that a mile from main street. The parking lot was well lit when we arrived after dark. The staff was professional and courteous. The room was clean with hard surface (no carpet) flooring throughout. The hotel was quiet from other guests and from any street noise."

"It was so quiet from the moment we arrived. The hosts were very responsive to any questions we had. We asked if a fire pit was included with our stay and it wasn’t. They went out of their way to provide a fire pit which was there at the time we arrived. The location is close to town which is a plus. The a/c was amazing and it cooled the room all night. The room smelled really good and clean. It was perfect for our little getaway. "
