Holiday Inn & Suites Virginia Beach North Beach by IHG

"Pretty good hotel. Although I can smell mold in our first floor room and then I actually saw the mold on the mattress cover too. Other than that, the hotel was clean. Parking is tight and lucky to find parking space on busy holiday weekend, but was located right across the street, so it's convenient enough and they have overflow parking areas if needed. Front desk and staff were really friendly and helpful. I like that they had a movie theater room. Didn't like that the breakfast restaurant closes at 10am, for us late risers, we never got a chance to eat there. Pool was nice and clean with a slide. Plenty of pillows, but mattress may be a bit too soft for my back. I like the layout of my suite. I wish the fridge had a freezer compartment. There was only one ice machine on the first floor and it was WAAAAAY across the hotel from our room."
