"The staff was very pleasant and nice. The place is old but the owner has done a lot to improve the place and numerous upgrades....it was very clean but lighting in the hallways are dim but the parking lot was very well lite up.The price was very accommodating.for a quick stay and go I would easily do again but would not take prom date there.Its location is perfect and can't get closer to the pier....overall a pretty cool place."

"What a fantastic experience from start to finish! The host was super communicative, welcoming, and provided local recommendations. The space itself was as described, very clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. They provided starter items we didn’t expect (coffee, sugar, detergent, hand soap, paper towels, etc.). Also, a great location. We would love to stay here again!"

"Just book this property! Great location, great room and great host! My husband and I were in town for a military event in Norfolk. We decided to stay here in lieu of Norfolk because the traffic wouldn't be as bad, it was more cost effective and it was pet friendly! This suite was perfect for us...it checked all the right boxes! First, the check-in process couldn't have been easier, especially considering we arrived late at night. Second, the room was extremely clean and quite homey. While there wasn't a TV, there was a really cool projector with total streaming capabilities...perfect for evenings in. It was actually a nice reprive from a TV screen. Thirdly, any questions I had during our stay were promptly answered by the host. Finally, if you're traveling with your furry bestie, this is the ultimate neighborhood....perfect for dog walking! Oh, and the pool is a draw, too!"

"Because of a maintenance problem at the original house we booked, I was notified the morning of our 4:00 pm check-in that the unit was no longer available. The host offered another smaller property with fewer beds. I'm not sure what we would have done if he had not had another option.Since it was last minute, we really had no other viable option. It worked out to be fine. It was comfortable. Two of my sons slept on the couches the whole time. There were ants and a few roaches. I know that's a problem at the coast.Also, I paid the pet deposit because I thought my daughter in law was staying at the unit and the dog would be there. Instead she opted for a dog friendly hotel. I did not know this until Thursday afternoon when I arrived at the location. I requested a refund on the pet deposit, but the host did not reply to my inquiry.This is the first time I have rented a Vrbo. I would do things a little differently if I did it again."
