"Lovely room, separate bedroom, and a fully equipped kitchen for cooking those large lobsters from the local fisheries in Menemsha. Clise to everything in Edgartown. A big plus was a parking space for the car. Rooms have private entrances. Almost dont want to write a great review, there may not be a room for me once this gem is discovered. "

"I wish to commend Area Hotel General Manager, Carlos Guzman, who sat at the front desk while his staff had called out sick. Carlos was very kind, courteous and curious about what brought us to the island, and when he learned of our nephew’s wedding and our unmet hope for 2 adjoining rooms to accommodate a daughter and grandchildren, he unsolicitedly upgraded our room to a 2 bedroom suite, which offered the five of us plenty of room and sufficient sleeping areas, as well as a full sized refrigerator and kitchen, to enjoy each other’s company throughout the wedding weekend. Carlos Guzman was personable, fun and funny, and went over and above any expected level of service. He spoke highly of and with great loyalty toward his employer and engaged with us by sharing some of his knowledge of and experience with island life and the people who make the island livable. This young man has earned our praise and I believe, his company’s positive attention."

"We had a fantastic time on Martha’s Vineyard. The host was very responsive and check-in was a breeze. The home was perfect, It was incredibly well-stocked with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, and the home’s location was ideal. We were able to conveniently visit all the local attractions. We also enjoyed the beautiful screened porch, living room and game room. So many options to choose from (I.e., large flat screen televisions, board games, ping pong, puzzles, etc.). We would highly recommend this place to anyone planning a visit to Martha’s Vineyard. "
