"Let me preface by saying that I had stayed at 3 different hotels in Chile before arriving into Courtyard. By far, the most complicated and shady placed I stayed in.
Taxes: upon arrival I was charged taxes (again) even though I showed that in my receipt the taxes had already been paid off.
Breakfast: they had posters all over the hotel showing that the breakfast time was between 6am - 10:30pm. I went to eat at 10:00am. At first, I was told breakfast time was over and I could order at an extra fee from their menu. when I inquired about they time advertised, they insisted that I was wrong. I had to pull out a picture of the posters, the Bonvoy the Expedia apps to show them that in all 3 of them they advertised the ending of breakfast at 10:30am. Only then they agreed to let me eat.
Airport Shuttle: I requested the free shuttle service from and to the airport. Booking it a bit of a hustle. I had to call 3 times to the hotel because the number they had online did not work. The staff at the hotel cannot make a reservation for you either. Turns out the number was wrong. Once you have the right number, you only text them through WhatsApp. The drivers were great and on time. Super friendly.
Following my last point, I went to the front desk to confirm my pick up time. Tell me why 4 staff members (front desk, cleaner, security guard, and other person) were all looking at my file and my personal info. Isn't that just the job of the front desk person?"
