"This is in the countryside and as such is rather isolated which is what I was looking for. The hosts were kind and accommodating. The room and bathroom were cozy in decor. It was a quiet and restfull night."

"We had a lovely weeks stay in Hobogite. The place was clean, cute and comfortable. I cooked alot during our stay as digestive illness and intolerance makes eating out tricky, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We had beautiful October sunshine most days, with some cold nights and mornings. We appreciated the welcome pack, the garden space, the many birds including green woodpeckers, the red squirrels, the wonderful stars, the olive tree, the lovely old stonework, the peaceful location and the proximity to Ruffec for easy supermarket shopping. An enjoyable week staying here. "

"The farmhouse and cottage were perfect for accommodating our group of 11 people comfortably. The house was clean, spacious and nicely furnished with excellent cookware available to use. The pool is a perfect size and temperature for relaxing and playing. The games barn was enjoyed by the teenagers in our group. The Farmhouse is situated in a very small, quiet village but there are small towns a ten minute drive in either direction with large supermarkets, restaurants etc. I would definitely recommend it for groups looking for a peaceful, fun holiday. "We had a great holiday at this lovely French Chateau. Unfortunately we had a heat wave that brought out hundreds of flies. By the end of the week, the weather cooled and the number of flies decreased significantly. The rooms were quite hot as a result, however the owner supplied us with a fan and we purchased 2 others to make things more comfortable. The salt water pool was a pleasure to have. There were also several outdoor games to play. Shopping was close by. We visited a couple of wineries as part of a day trip. There were several other adventures that were available but we decided to spend more time together with the relatives. Check in and check out was easy. Thanks for a great time. "
