"Please stay at this wonderful chambre d’hote. Roxi is the perfect host and you can really tell that she has put her heart and soul into this lovely house. The bedroom we had was amazing and had everything you need including a huge jacuzzi!!! Perfect place to enjoy the town of Verteuil sur Charente. Fresh eggs included in great breakfast. We will be back!!!"

"Sadly the address on the website was wrong. We could not find the hostel. It took us hours to find it. Meanwhile was talking to the host not possible. It was rough trip. The room was fine in the end."

"La réservation était faite pour quatre jours sur votre site, quand nous sommes arrivés on nous a gentiment dit que rien était réservé pour nous parce que notre hôte ne regarde pas les mails Abritel, elle a été désagréable, nous a envoyé paître. Elle n’a présenté aucune excuse et ne nous a pas proposé de solution et a en plus souffler parce que l’on ralait. A priori nous ne sommes pas les premiers à avoir cette expérience avec cette hôtesse qui change le nom de son gîte pour annuler les mauvaises...

"I arrived at address provided at 15.58 other 7th August. Property looked closed down. I rang and messaged owner several times. All records available on my phone. No answer from owner. I am visiting France from Ireland. I had to find alternative accommodation 16km away. The owner then messages me 4.5 hours after asking me if I was coming. Disgraceful. I will be applying for a full refund as this is not acceptable. The alternative accommodation I found was brilliant and it should be people like...

"Lovely gite, nice couple very friendly but unfortunately whilst decor etc was lovely for me the basics need tweaking a bit ie: no freeze box, no blinds in the bedrooms, no WiFi and I had to climb into the bath to set the taps for the children to have a shower/bath which I found quite difficult with an arthritic hip. On the plus side there is a full size cooker, microwave and a washing machine so I was able to go home with a clean suitcase of washing. There were dvds to watch, bikes to ride and...

"Prettig verblijf gehad. Rustige locatie in mooie omgeving. Ruime keuken en woonkamer, voldoende slaapkamers. Kinderen waren blij met het zwembad en de grote tuin. Leuk voor gezin en goed startpunt om uitstapjes te maken en activiteiten te ondernemen."
