"Dona Ines and her son Jesus are warm, welcoming and really good at hospitality. The house is in a tiny town surrounded by beautiful fields and short walk to a cool overlook where I was able to take stunning pictures of the sunset. I arrived after a 33Km walk from Sahagun and was grateful to find such generous people. Dinner was delicious and plentiful and the wine Jesus recommended was excellent. "Great 1 night stay en-route to Santander and the ferry back to the UK. Central Palencia is around a 10-15 minute walk away, although there are bars and restaurants nearby. Chose this hotel as it has it's own parking and is easier to navigate to, compared to more central options. It was a very hot evening and the air conditioning worked well. We will use this hotel again on future trips back to the ferry."
