"I arrived at this hotel a bit prejudiced because of some negative reviews, likely written by people who either didn’t want to pay for what they were getting or simply couldn’t appreciate the place. I have to admit I was wrong — and I apologize for my initial impression.
The staff was absolutely wonderful: kind, helpful, and genuinely courteous. The rooms may be a little dated, but they were spotless. I was even given extra towels without having to ask twice.
As for the breakfast, anyone claiming it wasn’t good must have had other issues, because it was excellent — fresh and well-organized, with eggs, sausages, yogurt, fresh bread, and more.
The location is also perfect: the old town is only about a 15-minute walk away, and the pool was clean and well-maintained.
This isn’t a 5-star luxury hotel, but I would happily return for the kindness of the staff, the welcoming atmosphere, and the overall value. Thank you!

"I have stayed there several times before over the years. It’s a sweet place! It’s only a 2 minute walk to the beach which is the best perk! I wish they would fix the neon sign with the name, rabbits and top hat. It’s been mostly out in recent years.
Unfortunately, next door they’re building one of those gentrified communities next door.
I’m an astrology/astronomy geek and my sole purpose was to see Venus, Jupiter, Sirius, Mercury and the Sun rise (between 4and 7am). Unfortunately, it was pouring with thunder and lightning. When it stopped raining it was totally overcast and some lightning. "
"Exemplary beach motel that exceeded expectations. It was clean and smelled very nice on arrival. The room came well stocked with both bath towels and Turkish towels for the beach (which I didn't use, because I brought my own). There was a fridge with plenty of space for some drinks and leftovers, as well as a microwave to heat those leftovers. The room also came with dishes and silverware, a coffeepot, and the motel's very own branded coffee (which was quite good!). King bed was comfortable. Excellent value for this price point! A+"
