"Our host Sharon was amazing! She was very helpful and attentive to our needs, we disturbed 3 times in an hour as our radiator had some issue, and she was very patient in helping us. The issue was resolved very quickly. I stayed in the private room for a night. rooms are very clean. Albergue has vending machines for coffee, snacks and items like plasters/nail clippers etc. Excellent location. With Supermarket, ATM, Pharmacy, and a Restaurant (food available from 6am-10pm) all within 2mins walk."

"This was our first Hotel we stayed in walking The Camino. The receptionist was very nice - very helpful. The room was absolutely fine. Functional room, bathroom was fine. Location good for getting into town and close to starting the Camino. No complaints at all for the price and was competitively priced compared to some of the other Camino hotels we stayed in! Would definitely recommend and it’s walkable from the train station. "

"Large apartment. Three single beds in bedroom were perfect for me and my sons. Kitchen is good, clean and has all the kitchenware you need. Apartment is right beside a big chain supermarket. Great place to use for the Camino de Santiago if you want a little private time."

"Excellent parador in 400 year old monastery high above town. Plenty of parking, staff friendly and helpful, room large and well equipped. Restaurant was superb, great service and very high quality food. Not much to see in Monforte, but a drive through the Sil valley is stunning."
