Ideal for hiking in the Teide National Park. Very central in Villaflor, but with a large public parking space nearby. Old, but functional facilities.

Stop there for one night to refresh during a bike packing trip through the Canary Islands. Got more than I was expecting!! Fantastic rooftop terrace to watch the stars!

Never so any staff, communication was good,room was adequate for price, kitchen was disappointing only two ring electric hob,not enough room to cook if place was full./Hot water for shower and washing dishes could do with being warmer,but for what it cost reasonably priced

Nice place, great value for money

Good place to stay in the heart of very nice small town of Vilaflor. Really good value for money. There is a well-equipped guest kitchen. A supermarket is located next door, but has only small selection, and the same applies to the two other local supermarkets. Bus connections here are fairly good, but only one bus per day to Teide, which can be full to the last seat. Staff was friendly and helpful although I didn't meet them, just communicated through WhatsApp. My main complain is lack of warm water in the shower.

Really pleasant stay. We booked Alma Hostel on the day was an hour's notice. Check in was less than a minute and done online. Key codes are provided within a minute of check-in. There are multiple private rooms, sizes vary. Our twin room had a small balcony. The apartment was clean, fresh smelling. There are 2 lockable toilets/bathrooms one big (2 sinks, big shower, tiolet, bidet) and one small (normal size for a small house) Didn't use the kitchen for anything more than hot water but had everything from ovens to hobs. Some people opted to make dinner with little trouble. Lastly, it seems to be a new, not on a lot of maps (is on Google) and a couple locals had no idea it was there. However, it's above the supermarket and the door is opposite Hotel rural Vilaflor.

Check-in easy, but online - no reception, but nice communication through WhatsApp Kitchen dark and not cosy. Shared living room disgusting. Looked like the floor had not been cleaned for 3 years. Bathroom had a lot of black mold which is unhealthy. Room had only blue-ish ceiling lighting, that looked like something from a public bathroom for avoiding junkies. Temperature inside, around 10 degrees Celsius during December. Heating elements were sparse and insufficient.

Das Alma Hostel hat alle unsere Zwecke erfĆ¼llt. Wir suchten nach einer gĆ¼nstigen Ɯbernachtungsmƶglichkeit nicht allzuweit vom Flughafen entfernt. Check in hat gut geklappt, unsere Ansprechpartnerin Alina hat auf alle Fragen prompt und Ć¼beraus freundlich reagiert. Auch unser Taxitransfer (nachts um 3:30Uhr) verlief reibungslos. Das Hostel ist zwar schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber alles war sauber und zweckmƤƟig.
