"Stayed at this property while in town for a work conference. The Congress Center is a close walk, which was perfect for us. You will need Uber, bus or trolley to get into Lisbon for a lot of sight seeing. The flat is laid out in genuine Portuguese style as our hosts explained. There was a lot of space. The garden is lovely. The hosts are delightful and full of great recommendations."

"Hebergement calme et une petite structure familiale. Propritaire très prévenant. Par contre, la voiture est indispensable. Pour se rendre a Lisbonne, il est conseillé de prendre le ferry a Bareiro sans la voiture et utiliser les transports en commun dans la capitale. "

"A nice villa in an excellent location for all the excellent beaches, but in need of some upgrading. External Walls need painting, some of the bathrooms need updating and the dishwasher and toaster didn’t work. The owners did get someone in immediately to repair the dishwasher , but it still leaked when they had gone."

"A well equipped villa with plenty of space inside and out. Plenty of sunbeds and you can choose shade or sun. The pool was good for a cool down. Elisabete looked after us very well and fixed any problems we had very quickly. Very helpful to have things like washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, charcoal & soap etc provided so you don't have to go out and buy everything on the first day. Even shower gel and shampoo provided. You need a car as other than a handy pizza restaurant very close, there...

"We had a really wonderful stay. The house and outdoor areas are fantastic. Carla was very responsive to questions. The beach at Carvalhal is a short walk away and is absolutely gorgeous. It's perfect for kids at low tide and ideal for beginner surfers. We are definitely going to return in the near future."

"We were a group of 10 all aged 20 or 21 and could not have picked a better place to stay. The house was very clean, spacious and accommodated to all our needs. The location was great as we could easily get to the main city or the beach each day. Teresa was super helpful and provided us with all the information we needed. We would happily stay again and defiantly recommend to anyone!"

"We had a wonderful stay in Father’s House Beach House. The house was very clean and modern with a lovely pool & garden. It was the perfect place to relax. "The house was nice. It was listed as a 4 bedroom however the 4th bedroom was not attached to the main house as well as the 3rd bathroom. The detached bedroom was not prepared and ready for us as the owner decided we would not need to use it as there were 4 of us traveling. I rented the property because it had 4 bedrooms as i didnt want adults sleeping on twin beds. The other separate bedroom also smelled musty. The grounds needed some attention as there was weeds growing around the patio bricks...

"We stayed in this beautiful home and we had a great time! The communication between myself and the owner as well as Filipa was wonderful! "Loved this little gem very close to the airport. From the outside it was the nicest home in the neighborhood. On a cul de sac, so minimal traffic. Lush vegetation outside and clean, modern, simple but lavish interior and upgrades. Ceiling fans!!! ❤️. Loved that we had driveway parking with a gate. The beds were comfortable, toiletries were plentiful and quality, towel and linens were plush, kitchen fully stocked with dishes, etc. The only complaint was that I could not find any ice cube trays....

"Im Großen und Ganzen sehr schöne 2 Wochen. Wir hatten die Hoffnung, dass man die knapp 2km auch mal zu Fuß an den Strand laufen kann. Allerdings schaffen das nur Hartgesottene, da es keinen Gehweg gibt. Mit Kindern oder Surfboard leider nicht möglich. Wenn man genauer hinschaut, merkt man, dass das Haus schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist. Grundsätzlich ist es aber sehr gut ausgestattet und der kleine Pool macht v.a. den Kids viel Spaß, gerade bei 30 Grad+"

"Very well equipped. We were particularly impressed with the amount of toys and stuff to entertain the children. Unfortunately the restaurants and bars were too far out to walk to with the children. We made the most of the outside kitchen and had a lovely relaxing stay!"

"Superbe maison. Très spacieuse avec ses 9 chambres. Nous étions 14 adultes et nous avions amplement d’espace pour tous et chacun. "I booked the property for 19 persons as a celebration for a friend. Paulo was always communicating with us for the months in the build up to the stay. The chef Jose was very friendly and cooked a great breakfast as well as a dinner for our final night. It is around 45 minutes from Lisbon but Paulo helped us organise taxis for a visit into the city on one of our days. There is also a supermarket around 5 minutes drive. Having the football pitch was also a great plus :) if you stick to the house...

"The villa was located in an upscale neighborhood close to several restaurants and stores. The only disappointing aspect was that only two of the five bedrooms had air conditioners and it was very warm during our July stay—room fans would have been helpful. The host Alice was nice and friendly. We were a group of 11 and the pool and ping pong table was enjoyable for the children."
