"I stayed in the Douceur Medoquine room and it was large, quiet, and beautifully decorated. The setting is peaceful and next door to the famous Chateau Pichon Baron. The owners, Pascale and Alex, were very helpful, friendly, and hospitable. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Uber and taxi service was somewhat unreliable so it is a good idea to have a car. "2 nights stay and although we booked b&b we were able to book dinner on the evening we arrived. The hosts were charming and made us feel very welcome. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and accessible, even on the first floor via a very narrow staircase. As 80 year olds we were cautious on the stairs but no problems. The breakfast was fine and sufficient. The location was perfect for us. We were able to visit the chateaux of the Listrac and also Pauillac very easily."

"It seems that there is rarely someone at the reception desk after 18:00...therefore, there was no one ask for information on things. Also there was no ice machine at the hotel. With that said, overall we liked the place, and are likely to return. Lovely location, impressive entrance, with a huge vineyard in the backyard, right in the middle of the "road of many chateaus". The room, along with the bathroom were both very spacious, with King-sized bed, high-quality mattress and pillows. The breakfast was excellent quality too."
