My husband and I wanted to drive the Amalfi Coast, and stumbled across Casa Tea online as an affordable place to stay before starting our drive along the coast. I will start by saying this is one of the most authentic and memorable experiences we had during our week in Rome/Pompeii! The only issue we had with the stay were the directions. Having been our first time to Italy (and actually Europe in general), we had limited knowledge and spoke VERY little Italian. Our wonderful hosts unfortunately also did not speak much English, so we got a little lost in translation as well. We ultimately found the location by putting the restaurant "La Bruschetteria" in Albori, Italy into Google maps, and asked them to come find us. Parking is very limited, but we were lucky and got there before the dinner crowd, and walked to our cute little 'hotel'. Our hosts were absolutely WONDERFUL and were very accommodating. We were greeted with homemade Limoncello and given a tour. The little balcony has an AMAZING view and we spent quite a bit of time there soaking it all in. They also even invited us to dinner with their friends at one of the restaurants. Given that we didn't speak much Italian, we thanked them and went on our own. Overall it was one of our favorite parts of the trip, and our only recommendations are to use the restaurant as a guide for directions if you don't speak Italian.
