  • This second-floor house powered by a solar system consists of 3-bedroom and 1-bathroom, open living-dining room with a fully equipped kitchen. Great location at the town square (some noise may be experienced) with just a 16-min. drive to Sun Bay beach and 15-Minute drive from the airport. Walking distance to local bank, ATM, pharmacy, mini-markets, restaurants and ferry terminal. Other white sandy beaches are just 16-18 min. drive ride from the town square. Beach chairs and charcoal BBQ is provided.

You cannot ask for a better location if you're looking for the convenience of being close to the ferry, restaurants/bakeries, and grocery stores. As mentioned in other reviews, things can get loud at night and in the early morning, so if you're a light sleeper, consider packing earplugs. The apartment was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay in Vieques, including beach chairs and a cooler.

The host was very responsive and helpful. The location of the apartment was perfect for a first timer in Isabel Segunda. The cafe below us had fabulous sandwiches and Courtney was extremely informative regarding places to visit. The Family Market next door had everything we needed- very well stocked. We enjoyed the balcony and the apartment was very spacious and comfortable.

The rental was in an ideal location close to the ferry and everything the town offers, including right next to a grocery store. We were provided snorkeling equipment, chairs, beach towels, a cooler, everything you could need for a beach day. We took advantage of that and rented a scooter from Scooters for Rent and drove around to the beaches. Absolutely loved our stay here and would love to come back to this place. Only thing I will say is it is a little outdated, but all the amenities are there and work well.

We came on a Girl Scout trip and wished we had stayed longer! Such an amazing location and property. The host was fantastic with communication and never left us worried or confused. Great location next to grocery store. Front patio is nice in the morning and the evening, there’s a smaller patio in the back for avoiding the afternoon. The host was very attentive.

Excellent location

The location in Isabella was excellent and the island is so small it is close to everything. Street parking was easy, the check in process was seamless and the balcony was awesome. Not much furniture in the living room but all the bedrooms had their own air conditioner. Small water heater so take quick showers. Great place, will definitely be back

I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The host was extremely communicative and offered immediate responses anytime I reached out. The rental was easy to walk to from the ferry dock, which was important to us as we were getting in on the last ferry of the day and I didn't want the hassle of having to find a taxi at the later hour. Plenty of great restaurant/food spots all within walking distance as well. It was spacious, had all the necessary amenities, and even provided beach gear for our beach day adventures! We had zero issues and would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great property and location!

We loved our stay here! Great location close to the beach, grocery store, and places to eat. The street is bustling during the day but is quiet by 10 PM at the latest. We never had any trouble with the noise when putting our 3 boys to bed. The locals are wonderful. House is well furnished and has all the beach chairs and other beach stuff you need. On street parking is more than ample even during the day. A/C worked great. Will definitely stay here next time we are in Vieques.

Great guesthouse!

We stayed for 2 nights in Vieques. Location was fantastic and within walking distance to the ferry and to restaurants and shops. As per the listing, this location is within the downtown so you do easily hear noises outside, especially around 6am when the grocery store opens. Just bring ear plugs or white noise and it’ll be fine. Very clean house, excellent communication with host. AC in each bedroom and fans in the main living area. Would definitely stay here again!

Great place!!

The owner was very communicative and flexible with our group. The house is more of a downtown home and you will need to take a taxi to the southern part of the island to get the super good beaches. It had a wonderful small beach within walking distance as well. Extra blankets and towels with chairs. It had everything we needed and more. We brought a bunch of food from the main land. There is literally a grocery store next door that’s reasonable. I wouldn’t take more than snacks. Wonderful stay!! Will be back again!!

Great Location for getting to know Vieques

It was our first time visiting and staying on the island and picking a place downtown was a great first step. We were close to the ferry, a few markets, brunch and dinner places all in walking distance. Set up was perfect for a couple of couples or group of friends. Clean and tidy, great lay out and a few creature comforts (well working AC gets a huge shout out), had everything we needed and the host was nearby and friendly. Getting in and out was a breeze.Parking was on street but plenty of opportunities. Only negative would be there is a busy market next door that starts up pretty early (530-600am was the wake up time) so be prepared to be early risers. Worked fine for us, but I would not recommend it if you have kids or light sleepers.

Great location

Our family had a quick two night stay on Vieques. The property was a five minute walk from the ferry terminal. Check in was breeze, good communication. The bedrooms have AC and there are several ceiling fans in the living room and kitchen. Easy onstreet parking for our rental car. Grocery store right next door. We didn't take advantage of the balcony and outdoor seating, but ample space for dining and people watching on the busy street. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. There is a bit of street noise and construction early in the morning, not a criticism, just an FYI. We enjoyed our time here in Vieques! thank you!

Family Trip

Eulogio was very responsive to my messages, very kind host. The area wasn't what we really expected. We had to drive about 20is minutes to get to the beach, so it wasn't as close as expected - being a smaller island. The house was located in the middle of a cute small town, so it did get pretty loud, especially from midnight - 3AM. I had read that before hand, so we were prepared. The building is a bit older than expected and the interior was too. I wish it had another bathroom, but we made it work. The one thing that caught us off guard is the air conditioning. There is only AC in the bedrooms. The living room, hall and kitchen do not. It was extremely, extremely hot so we had to sit outside more then half the time when we were home. We cooked a few times, and it got even hotter, so I wouldn't recommend cooking if you are staying there. It is located near a market place which was very useful! However, the balcony (which was amazing), is very close to where the market supply warehouse opens it's sliding doors, so you hear it very early in the morning and at night. This home is located really close to the ferry, which was helpful and I loved the sounds of the roosters early in the morning. It was very special. The house is also equipped with beach chairs, beach towels and floats!
