Vieques stay

We so thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! It’s a beautiful house. We particularly enjoyed the relaxing back patio. Check-in instructions were very clear. The entire house was clean and well-organized. The location was great. Check-out was straightforward. I would highly recommend this place, and I would definitely stay here again!

The house was absolutely gorgeous and well taken care of. It’s well lit from the outside which was nice since the rest of the street was dark. Amenities were fully stocked and even included earplugs to help with the roosters that started before the sunrise. The backyard is adorable and we spent the mornings and evenings sitting back there. Check in and out were very easy. Walkable to grocery store, restaurants, and ferry. Would definitely stay here again!

Amazing week at Casa Carmin

Spent an amazing week in Vieques at Casa Carmin. The host has created a very inviting home to vacation in. The house was clean, had everything one needed to cook breakfast/dinners if one had to, close to everything, restaurants, grocery store, beaches etc. Loved it!

Pros: Lovely, spacious, clean home. Generous coffee bar. Beautifully landscaped back patio. House Included everything needed for the beach - umbrellas, chairs, towels, snorkeling, ice chest. Cons: Neighbors’ loud roosters, dogs and a goose make noise all day and night.

Viaques stay

The property was clean and looks just like the pictures. Easy to walk to Seaglass Beach and restaurants in Isabel II. Air conditioning was nice and cold. Washer and dryer were convenient. Host stocked the house with lots of extras in case you forget anything, like toothpaste, laundry detergent. Back patio was pleasant for relaxing. very cold

If I ever come back, THIS is where I’m staying

The house was a clean, comfortable, and luxurious place to stay! There are more than enough towels, and the shower has good water pressure and produces hot water. The air conditioning was top notch and the tv worked great too! There were no issues with any appliances, and the provided coffee was awesome and overall a perfect place for a vacation!

Amazing amazing amazing. Such a beautiful property exactly as described. Communication and check in instructions were prompt and clear. There were so many extras that made our stay so convenient from a coffee bar to laundry detergent etc etc.. The house was walkable to bars, restaurants, stores, a market, and more. We will absolutely be back & can’t recommend this place enough.

Perfect family base with amenities

This was the perfect base for our young family of 5 (with room for more if needed). A beautiful modern home, great location walkable to all things in Isabel II near the most popular restaurants, easy check in/out, excellent communication, and the amenities to make us comfortable between our beach trips and excursions. Impressively, when the entire island of PR had a power outage…we didn’t even know because the house has solar panels and multiple batteries to keep us powered nonstop. Even still, Juan reached out and stayed in touch with tips and updates to make sure our stay was uninterrupted. We were very fortunate to find this spot. Thanks Juan and Jeishi!

All I can say is WOW! Stunning rental!! Absolutely beautiful inside. Had everything we needed! Laundry is a must have with beach days. There was beach towels, chairs, sand toys, and snorkel gear! Absolutely recommend!!

Fantastic! Simply Fantastic!

I can't say enough positive things about this stay. The house is adorable, the beds are comfortable, and all of the amenities are thought of! The courtyard/ patio area is super cute and the hammock is amazing! The communication with the hosts was quick and full of information. I would 1000000% stay here again! The only downside that i can think of is that the shower pressure wasn't as high as we like it, but that's a personal preference. Ear plugs were provided, but we didn't need them. If you're a light sleeper, you may want them because of the roosters, but the house muted them pretty effectively. You may also want to bring a sleep mask as the house gets a lot of gorgeous light (which is fantastic) but may make sleeping in more challenging.

The most beautiful, modern, clean, and awesome home we have ever stayed in. Completely renovated, all walls, doors, windows, a/c's, furniture, appliances, lights, lamps, TV's, bathroom, beds, sheets, kitchen utensils, WOW! I mean everything is so new. The outside is well light. The most beautiful and comfortable backyard with table and chirs and hammock. Incredible. Snacks, spare toothbrushes, soap for washing machine and also a dryer! Hot water that actually works. For the beach, beach umbrellas, beach towels, cooler, snorkle, masks, & fins! This house is a must stay if you are comming to Vieques. Do not think twice. Pristine house

The property is brand new. Great attention to detail in how it was remodeled. Very comfortable unit with great space for all. Snacks and coffee bar are a great touch. Don’t forget to to your the rear patio to relax. The neighborhood surrounding the unit is in disrepair but seems there is new construction happening and might become a very nice area. Close to restaurants although we choose to drive Overall, a fantastic experience and I highly recommend. Even the neighborhood dogs came to say hi.

Property manager above and beyond

This home is lovely and really feels like an oasis. Everything that the manager can control is well thought out and amazing. Backyard is very cute. The house is very clean and well decorated. The house across the street has an odor issue (at least while we were there), but that is not under the control of this property. The manager answered questions promptly when we had some travel struggles and even allowedlate check out so we could rinse off after a beach morning. They even offered to mail us a stuffed animal that one of my kids left there. Really great folks to work with and the property is comfortable, well stocked, and pristine.

As good as it looks!

This property was great for our family of 5 for a 2 night stay on the island. The listing description and pictures are accurate and hosts have gone above and beyond to make the stay easy and comfortable and have added so many personal touches. The backyard is picture perfect. My 13 yr old son, who is growing and always hungry, had more than his fair share of the complementary snacks provided - I tried to limit him, but he thought it was awesome and kept going back for more. We did not have much time to explore the area near the house, but it was very centrally located close to the ferry terminal and it was easy to get anywhere on the island from here. I definitely recommend renting a jeep to explore all the hard to get to beautiful beaches. There are a lot of free roaming animals (roosters, chickens, dogs, cats, horses) on the island everywhere and also around the house but it just made our trip that much more interesting and memorable. So glad we chose this house!

2 nights in Vieques

I stayed here with both family and a friend. We stayed for 2 nights while we visited Vieques. I have to say this rental worked well for us. The first thing that helped was that this was in walking distance from the ferry. I needed to get a rental car for my stay, and the rental car shuttle wasn't going to fit our entire group. So. while I got the rental, they walked to the house. It was uphill, but when reversed the trip going home it was downhill for them. Anyway this was convenient. Plus, they bought food on the way for our stay. Second good thing was that the house was well stocked. Coffee and tea, sugar and creamer so we had morning drinks right away. And there were some snacks that my kids liked. It was also stocked with beach towels chairs and umbrellas. This was so helpful. Of course it was also stocked with bedding and shower towels too. It was just easy to stay here. Next was the cleanliness. It was fresh and clean when we got there. The beds, the living room, the kitchen, the bathroom, even the backyard. There is even a washer and dryer for us to use. The backyard was small, but well put together. There were patios off two bedrooms. And and table and chairs useful for morning coffee. Plus a hammock. And importantly, it felt private. The only negative is the neighborhood is a little rough. But this house is a oasis. New and well designed. The best part was the host. They were responsive when I needed it. I would stay here again.

Love The Small Details

Casa Carmin, by far, is the best VRBO I have visited with my family in Puerto Rico. The facilities are gorgeous, and the communication with our host was incredible. The small details definitely put this VRBO above other. Thank you for the snaks, water and coffee. We love the small details. I can't wait to visit Vieques again. I highly recommend Casa Carmin if you are visiting the Vieques, PR area.
