possible to get a room without any windows

This place is located in very convenient place, but I fount out this is not even a hotel when I arrived here. It was "Guest house". Hotels.com must correct the name of this place. I chose the room without balcony for saving some money, I never expected the room without any windows though. It should give the correct information about the room. The airport pickup service was twice expensive than outside.(You can find cheaper mini van service easily)

A value for money Guesthouse.

A basic guesthouse on 5 floors with no lift. In a good location for shops and restaurants etc. The room was clean and the bed was large and comfortable. The free tea, coffee and water was good as was the WiFi. The staff were friendly and helpful and spoke good English.

Good for sightseeing.

A conveniently located guesthouse close to all the shops, restaurants and attractions. The room was spacious and clean with a large comfortable bed, a hot shower and good WiFi. Free tea, coffee and water in the lobby. No lift. Ask for help with your luggage if required. Staff were helpful, spoke good English.

Friendly and helpful staff. Good food within short walking distance. Clean and well maintained. The simple breakfast is not worth the extra amount the guest has to pay. There is no elevator. Guest has to carry luggages up the stairs.

En arrivant à l'hotel la chambre ne correspomdait pas à la réservataion! Ils nous a fallu 40mins pr expliquer qu'on a réservé une chambre double et pas pour 4 personnes située au rez-de chaussée près des toilettes, l'escalier et la réception. Et c est quand on a commancé à appeler hotels.com les gens de la réception a trouvé une chambre double! Les renseignements sur différents sujets étaient limités!

Albergo ben tenuto con personale gentilissimo. Non buono il rapporto qualità prezzo. Non chiare le foto della stanza e pertanto mi sono ritrovato in una stanza senza finestre, che ho rifiutato. Purtroppo avevo già pagato e non sono potuto andare via. Alla fine mi hanno dato una camera con una finestra su una scala di passaggio, quindi impossibile tenerla aperta, perché la mia l'avevano affittata ad altra persona. L'indomani sono andato via trovando a circa 100 metri un appartamento di circa 80 metri quadri, con 2 stanze da letto, salotto ecc. ecc. con il 50% in meno di quanto avevo pagato in questo. Quindi non fidarsi mai delle foto inserite sul sito, nella maggior parte dei casi non sono veritiere e questa è una grossa colpa di chi dovrebbe controllare per offrire un miglior servizio all'utenza, ma non lo fa.

Pleasant rooms and excellent location.

The location is central and the staff is very polite and friendly. The rooms have decent space and are very clean. there is no wadrobe for clothes though. All the landmarks are 10 mins walking distance which is a bonus. Overall a comfortable stay.

Situated in a very walkable area. We got laundry done at a reasonable price and it was done quickly. We paid extra for breakfast ($3, I think) but I wouldn’t do that again because the breakfast was very simple (various styles of eggs and bread or toasted baguette) and there are lots a cafes nearby with better breakfasts for slightly higher price. They have copies of Laos tour guides (i.e. lonely planet) available for use on the main floor, which was nice.
