Really nice hotel but absolute trek if you want to go into Wein

Impressive old mansion on a hill overlooking Vienna. Incredible city views at night and we were treated to a spectacular sunrise over the city in the morning too. The building itself has a checkered history, some of which was disturbing to read about, but the hotel has done a great job of utilising it for a memorable guest experience. Stunning views from the breakfast table and a great buffet breakfast.

We stayed here for the night to break up our trip from Prague to Venice. The staff are wonderful, the hotel is lovely and I was really impressed that they are energy self sufficient. The staff really helped us with directions and a recommendation for dinner and they made getting around really easy for us. It was a great stay!

Comfortable room with high ceilings

Walking distance to train and other public transport. Landry May within 500m Didn’t like the cost of breakfast at 25Euro a head is way over the top for what one could possibly eat. Eating dinner was cheaper per person and the meals were filling.

The hotel staff were lovely and very helpful. The hotel is located across the road from the U-Bahn station making travel to/from the airport and other parts of Vienna so simple and straightforward. There is a convenience store next door making it easy to grab any basics.

A most enjoyable and comfortable stay. It is abundantly clear that the staff take pride in providing a very high standard of service. They are attentive and personable. The breakfast is excellent. Highly recommend.

We were very happy with our stay in the Falkensteiner Hotel and this was our favourite hotel of our Europe trip. As Gold Expedia VIP we have also received a complementary room upgrade to the Junior Suite and this over NYE! Friendly and helpful staff. Great spacious and modern rooms. The hotel is located just a few minutes from the city centre and it is very easy to get around with Public Transport. The only negative comment we have is that we could not manually turn on and off the air...

Excellent quiet hotel.

A great location and we walked to everything within the cbd and tourist area. Room was great with a nice bathroom. A welcome drink for us which was a nice touch. We would stay again!

The hotel is new, clean and well maintained. I was skeptical of a room with an open sink in the bedroom but the design was well considered so the water didn’t spray onto other areas of the room and there is a privacy curtain available. I loved the shower, the little window nook and MagSafe charger right by the bed. The room design is bright and cute. I didn’t interact with the staff much as everything is done electronically. One very small gripe would be that I selected daily cleaning upon check...

Fabulous Hotel with great employees. The gentleman who checked us in gave us a lot of info about Vienna public transport including maps etc. Very rare these days when checking into hotels. Beds were so comfortable! This was our 5th hotel on this trip & we had the best sleep! Breakfast was good with a nice variety & fabulous fresh fruit salad. We ate at the small bistro one night & food was good. Small menu but good for a light meal. It was lovely to sit outside with no-one else around...

Great location right next to the train and tram stops. Super easy check in and a nice room.
