The shower drainage was very slow so it flooded the bathroom but otherwise my stay was great, the staff was very welcoming
Zola is perfectly situated, merely minutes walk from the U-Bahn.
Upon arrival the staff were friendly and professional and took the time to thoroughly explain the hotel and functions of the room.
Overall a beautiful hotel, all the amenities a guest could want and situated as a perfect base to explore Wien
Of all the hotels I stayed at during my time throughout Europe, this was my favorite experience. I sadly only had time to stay for one night, but it was wonderful. The room was spacious, very clean, packed with amenities and cute touches (the open Émile Zola book when I checked in was such a nice touch!!) The staff was helpful and kind. Great location, out of the hustle and bustle of the city but a quick metro ride away from everything. If I make it back to Vienna, I would love to stay there again!
Modern room, well designed. 10 min to metro. Clean and staffs are very friendly.

I stayed here for a combination of conference and pleasure.
The hotel staff and the pizza bar staff were incredibly helpful and polite. All faculties including the rooms were exceptionally well kept. In "normal" times I would highly recommend the hotel.
Unfortunately, construction of a railway immediately outside both side streets started at 630-645 am. I got no sleep unless I went to bed many hours earlier. Which negates the enjoyment of Vienna.
Had the hotel posted that there was construction on Expedia I would have never stayed here. I thought this was mandatory to report.

accommodation for holiday
The design and cleanliness of the hotel was very good. My husband and I stayed for the holiday and we loved its design. It was a clean, comfortable hotel where you could stay comfortably. However, the reception service was very poor. We had a hard time finding someone at the reception during the day, we usually had to wait 15-20 minutes. In terms of location, it is a little far from the center and public transportation.

Don’t let the cactus stool fool you. We stayed at a couple of “bohemian” themed hotels across Eastern Europe…this one is a disappointment.
It is a basic hotel, has an elevator. It was clean.
Unfortunately, even though it was billed as an ‘adults only’ hotel, I couldn’t help but feel as though I was being treated like a child. It was the only establishment we stayed at in two weeks that required a security deposit (they did have a mini bar so that’s fair) but they felt the need to warn me at check in that if we stole anything it would be charged against our deposit. When we got to the room we were greeted with a nicely printed note outlining the cost to be charged for every item in the room. Room amenities included a hair dryer, pencil (with scrap piece of paper), coffee maker (with only two coffee pods), and toiletries (shampoo and body wash only and attached to the wall). The queen mattress was two twin mattresses pushed together with separate comforters.
The hotel has no parking arrangements so if you have a car, the closest public parking lot is a 15 minute walk. The city of Vienna limits on street parking to 2 hour increments so it’s not practical to park on the street overnight without a permit (this is what I was told anyway).
All in all, for the price I could’ve done better. Maybe not this close to city Center but better all the same.
Pros:
Modern minimalist chic decoration.
It was clean they were cleaning everyday bed sheets to change every 3-4 days. We stayed for 2 days.
Huge bathroom it was one of the biggest that I have ever seen in an Hotel and the a/c heater was working well.
Hot water was available shower was clean.
Room had huge window to open and able to hear birds early in the morning.
Cons:
Floors were noisy. It was an old building and the floors was not well build making noises while walking.
Room was no 108 looking at the street. Garbage was being collected around 6 am in the morning and it was a loud noise like contruction work took around 15 minutes which was irritating.
For the entrance of the hotel there is not any elevator and you need to carry your luggages for upper floor.
There was not any space to sit at the hotel. There was a private restaurant which did not have any open areas during our stay on 10-12 april.
Around 3 km away from the city centre it will not be possible to walk metro station is 750 m away from the hotel which may be not much but if you walk few times during the day it was quite a lot.
You need to use metro or taxi it will be mandatory.
My reservation type was pay ay the propoerty but the smarty lady working at the reception was tried to charge one night of the accomodation from my credit card a day before we arrive, she said they usually do this but they cant do this. if my reservation is pay at property, I will pay at the property.

Genesis was wonderful to us and we appreciate her assistance and warmth.
We came for Coldplay concert that’s why we stayed at Zola Hotel because it was close to the stadium. It was an amazing hotel but a bit far from the city center.
