It was a great experience staying in capsules. Easy to get to public trasportation and at all a clean an cozy envirment but i think if they put a mini refregrator there, it would be more helpful.

Great value for money

I didn’t realise the pods were double size which was great. Everything was laid out in the pod on arrival including towels and bedding etc. bathroom and showers were clean. Lockers available if staying in the city longer than checkout which was very handy. Great value for a cheap weekend away.

Literally the best hostel ive stayed at and ive been to more than i can count. This place was extremely clean, everything was convenient. There was always soap, toilet paper, we had locked lockers. I felt very safe and had a great time staying there!! I hope they continue the great work. Highly recommend

What you would expect in a pod hotel. A fun experience in a cool pod, bed and pillows were very comfortable. Showers were great, 3 separate ones with lockable doors. 2 bathrooms, female and male, were okay, there is really no need for them to be gendered as they are the same, but unfortunately the woman’s would sometimes run out of toilet paper and all the extra was kept in the men’s. There were also no towels to dry your hands. Each person gets one towel that is as small as a hand towel, which was inconvenient. And as others have said, you can hear absolutely everything around you, not even just muffled noise, but clear as day. Our pod door was also very loud to open/close, so we felt bad knowing we were waking up everyone every time we moved the door.

hotels.com never sent me the confirmation code to check-in. And since this hotel has no front desk, it was a complete hassle and I spent a lot of money in roaming charges contacting the owner to get in so I expect compensation for my stay

Does the job

Space Home does the job of having somewhere to lay your head for the night, but that’s about it. The main issues we had while staying here was space(jokes aside). Although there’s lockers provided everything just seems to be a mess all the time, with everyone’s belongings everywhere as one locker per pod is not enough. The other issue we had was facilities. The hostel itself can hold up to 20-odd people, there was maybe 10 staying on one of our nights. There are 3 sinks, 3 showers, one male and one female toilet to be shared by everyone. Linen/towels/cleaning products/dirty linen are left lying on the window sills and around the room, even the cleaning staff seem to struggle for space. The likes of a fridge would have been very useful. Also there could be more attention to detail with cleanliness. We felt sorry for our neighbours in the pod below us as every turn and twist made the pod thud and bang. The LED buttons controlling lights are also extremely bright, and don’t turn off. We ended up covering them with bandages to be able to sleep. In saying that, it did the job, we loved Vienna and the location of space home was convenient. The aim of this review is to merely improve this accommodation, as it has the potential to be great :)

El lugar estaba impecablemente limpio, super accesible desde la estación de Praterstern. Agua caliente, los demás huéspedes no se meten contigo, hay lockers gratuitos con llave(y puedes seguir usándolos hasta las 6pm después de tu salida). Lo que mejoraría sería que hubiera dos pares de audífonos en las cápsulas que son para dos personas. El resto, perfecto.

Perfekt für eine Nacht. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut. An- und Abreise sind sehr flexibel. Duschen, WC und Waschraum sind sauber und gepflegt. Die Kapseln bieten Privatsphäre trotz des gemeinsamen Schlafraumes. Die Bedienelemente in der Kapsel sind sehr intuitiv und es war mir trotz meiner Größe (1,9m) möglich in der Kapsel zu schlafen. Super geeignet wenn man nur einen Schlafplatz braucht, bereit ist die Sanitärräume zu teilen und nicht allzu geräuschempfindlich ist. Verbesserungspotential gibt es bei der Versperrmöglichkeit der Kapsel (leider defekt), der Beschriftung der Spinde (Zuordnung zur Kapsel?), den Waschbecken (laufen schlecht ab), der Lüftung im Raum (es war sehr dunstig), der Größe des Handtuchs (fürs Duschen grenzwertig) und dem Liegecomfort in der Kapsel (sehr dünne Matratze, dafür sehr dicker Polster).

Je déconseille fortement cet établissement ! À mon arrivée, aucun casier disponible, tous étaient déjà pris par d’autres clients. Résultat : j’ai dû dormir avec ma valise dans la capsule, ce qui est inacceptable ! En plus, les toilettes communes étaient sales. Ne pouvant laisser mes affaires sans surveillance et devant un tel manque d’organisation, j’ai préféré quitter cet endroit dès le lendemain. Si vous avez une grosse valise, fuyez ! Vous n’aurez aucune chance de trouver un grand casier pour la ranger.

Alors cet hébergement est propre, lit toilettes douches ok. Il est vrai que l'espace commun n'est pas très grand, mais j'aurais apprécié un réfrigérateur, pour y déposer une bouteille d'eau et un petit snack. Compter 8 minutes à pied pour rejoindre le metro. Mais bon, dans l'ensemble ce fut très bien.

È la prima volta che dormo in una capsula ed essendo non insonorizzata si sentiva tutto anche il minimo rumore. Asciugamano piccolo ed insufficienza per asciugarsi dopo la doccia. Materassino basso e scomodo, non sono riuscito ad accendere una luce all'interno, forse non c'era. Insoddisfatto.

Bonne première expérience dans une capsule

Globalement une bonne expérience dans ces capsules. Elles sont confortables et très bien situé (5min à pied de la gare et du métro) Le seul bémol est la ventilation de notre capsule qui, même à puissance maximale étsit insuffisante.
