Horrible experience. The hotel was very difficult to find, which caused me to miss my train. I arrived around 11:00 pm, and the experience was awful. There was no help available, and right in front of the hotel there were people smoking drugs, which made me feel very unsafe. The hotel itself was not appealing, with stained carpets and an overall neglected appearance. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff was very kind, but unfortunately, I disliked everything else.

I recommend this place. The room was a decent size. The location was great walking distance from almost anything. Quiet despite facing a road. Matresses were firm which suits me. Breakfast was tasty, the kids enjoyed it. The breakfast room was quite small, probably not great if you had mobility problems but there was a room service option. The antler light fitting was odd but not any problem.

Good size room. Cute little deco details. The bed was big, but the mattress wasn't comfortable. The bathroom was tiny and the toilet was (strangely) sandwiched between the shower and the sink. Very good communication in terms of how to get in given that reception is open only from 7:00 to 13:00.

Nice hotel, small room for 3 and tiny bathroom, but its price it’s a good deal, 20 min walk to St Stephan cathedral and lots of restaurants near by, but they all need reservations. Stuff is very friendly most speak English. Eating 4 stars only because room was small for 3 of us.

Good stay!

A lovely stay and excellent service! The rooms are nice and spacious. Nice bed linen. The bathroom however is quite small and not so well cleaned (floor) and the shower etc is a bit old. Overall very nice and great location!

Saint Sherman was a great hub for our (too short) stay in Vienna. The rooms are really big and clean. The hotel amenities are limited (more of a bed and breakfast style place) but the room was really what stood out and that was the most important part to us. Good location for getting around- we walked and it took us about 20minutes to get to the city center.

Love every minute

I have stayed at this hotel before and I enjoyed it the second time just as much. It is in a great location. Close to public transportation, shops, restaurants, and attractions. It is a smaller hotel and the small details they add to your stay are great. They are also super helpful in giving you great tips on food recommendations and explaining where the best stop might be on the underground.

If you approach this property with a sense of peace and tranquility, you will be rewarded. It is simple, clean, quiet and friendly. We used it as “tranquility base” for our wanderings. Felt like my bedroom at home. But it is simple. Watch for your door code in the email.

Nice hotel with charm, character and a good location ( about a 10 minute walk to area of Opera House) Tiny but typical bathroom. Towels were a bit worn and pillows were very flat. We enjoyed our stay ( we didn’t have the breakfast offered)
